I’m a preschool teacher, & I absolutely love my job but I definitely don’t do it for the pay! A significant amount of my checks (&even more of my husband’s) go towards taking care of feral/strays. From building insulated tote homes, daily feeding, flea treatments, deworming, treating injuries... It is needless to say, it takes a considerable toll on our finances.

Dude thinks he’s a Mama! Flops (aka Mr.Mama) is a male feral cat who takes care of abandoned kittens& protects them fiercely! From leading them to food/water- to risking his life to protect them from any threats that approach (raccoons, large dogs, etc.) We have helped feed/flea treat/other necessities but the bottom line is THIS STUD NEEDS NEUTERED ASAP! As a teacher, I can’t afford it and there is no free places anywhere in my area— only discounted at $150 (that is not including gas for the hour to even get there) This money will mean we can immediately take him to be neutered (life saving vaccinations/tests for him will have to be put on hold until we get these cats all fixed) We will continue to update on each of our feral furballs as we progress towards ending this kitten crisis!❤️- Mr. Meow is a feral cat who we have helped feed/flea treat/take care of wounds but the bottom line is THIS STUD NEEDS NEUTERED ASAP! As a teacher, I can’t afford it and there is no free places anywhere in my area— only discounted and that is the bare minimum we are asking to take him to be neutered with zero vaccinations or other things unless we are able to afford it. We will continue to update on each of our feral furballs as we progress towards ending this kitten crisis!
Spaying and neutering is crucial to prevent the number of kittens from increasing during this harsh upcoming winter. Food, Flea control, building cat homes, and other necessities add up fast& as a preschool teacher I struggle to keep up with the cost
