My name is Shailyn. My husband, Daniel Jackson, tragically passed away due to life-threatening injuries inflicted by an individual who was under the influence of marijuana while operating a work vehicle. While my husband was crossing the street, this driver collided with him. According to the police report I have reviewed, the driver ran a red light that had turned red when he was 50 feet away from the intersection, and he made no attempt to avoid hitting my husband. Regrettably, one night, I was searching for my husband. This search concluded when I was faced with the heartbreaking task of identifying him in a hospital bed, where he lay with severe, life-threatening injuries caused by a man who was driving under the influence of marijuana. I have been left with the responsibility to provide for myself, and I am struggling, if not overwhelmed, which is why I am reaching out for assistance to cover cremation costs and for general support. I currently have no source of income; my husband was my sole provider.

I have zero source of income; that all was my husband.
