The Twins

For two years, we watched the world move forward while our lives froze inside a tent. We study on the light of a small battery, carrying medical books that should be in a university classroom—not on the sand floor of displacement. We are fighting every day not to lose the future we have worked for since childhood. What we lack is not hope or determination—we have both. What we lack is the chance to stand again. Your support is the difference between two future doctors… and two futures lost forever. Who We Are : We are Eid Ghassan Eid Al-Agha and my twin brother Khairi Ghassan Eid Al-Agha, two Palestinian students who achieved exceptional Tawjihi scores: 98.9% and 98.3%. Our dream has always been to become doctors and serve our community. Our Dream Was Erased in Only 10 Days In 2023, we began our medical studies at Al-Azhar University in Gaza. We attended only 10 days of classes before the war began. Our university was destroyed. Education collapsed. The future we built over a lifetime vanished in a moment. Two Years Without Education — Five Times Displaced Over the past two years, we were displaced five different times, each time forced to leave everything behind. Today, we live with our family in a tent in the Mawasi area of Khan Younis, enduring extremely harsh living conditions with no stability, no home, and no classrooms. Why We Need Your Help : With Gaza’s universities destroyed, our only path to continue studying medicine is to relocate to Egypt. Our family home was also completely destroyed, leaving us without any safe place to return to. This campaign will help us restart our education and support our displaced family. Funding Goal: €40,000 A fully transparent breakdown: Purpose Cost (€) Description 1. Evacuation & Travel Fees €12,000 Safe passage to Egypt (€6,000 per student). 2. Tuition & Academic Costs €8,000 First year of medical school for both students. 3. Family Housing Support €20,000 To restore basic stability for our displaced family.
