Dustin Moss

My name is Dustin, and I’m reaching out because I’ve been through a series of life-changing accidents that have left me struggling to get by. Over the years, I’ve survived seven major vehicle accidents—hit and runs, drunk drivers, and more. In every case, the other driver had no insurance, leaving me to face the aftermath alone. I’ve endured broken femurs, a shattered wrist, a fractured eye socket, and more. I’ve had over 11 surgeries and 42 medical implants just to keep moving forward. These injuries have changed every part of my life. I can’t work while I wait for disability approval in Georgia, and I’m struggling to cover basic needs like medicine, gasoline, food, and daily living costs. My injuries and diagnoses make it hard to be social or even leave the house. I have panic attacks triggered by sounds and lights, and sometimes I experience flashbacks so intense that I can’t function for weeks. I can’t lift much or move easily, and even seeing family or going to the store is overwhelming. I’ve tried every possible avenue for help, but nothing has worked so far. I live with my disabled father, who can’t afford to help with my food or transportation to appointments. I don’t drink, smoke, or use drugs—I’m just trying to survive and stay healthy. I’m hoping for any positive support, whether it’s a donation or a kind message. I’m truly at a breaking point and need help to avoid homelessness and keep up with my medical needs.
