He is the kind of person who wears his heart on his sleeve, would give the shirt off his back, and embodies unwavering loyalty and integrity. His charisma is undeniable, and his devotion to family and community is unmatched. If you’ve had the chance to meet him, you might have even asked yourself, “Is he even real?”

<div>While I may be biased, as he is my forever person, I am not alone in my admiration. From family members to the many communities he serves, everyone who knows Danny can attest to his kindness, generosity, and ability to bring joy and laughter wherever he goes. He is truly the kind of person who lights up every room he enters.

<div>However, despite his selflessness, Danny has been silently struggling with a serious health issue—one he has been reluctant to ask for help with. Over the past few years, he has faced a severe dental condition due to genetic factors, which has led to the progressive deterioration of his teeth and gums. Despite spending thousands of dollars on dental care, he has repeatedly encountered setbacks due to medical malpractice and inadequate treatment plans.

<div>Danny now requires urgent, life-saving oral surgery. Without this procedure, the worsening condition of his teeth and gums poses a significant risk to his overall health, with potentially fatal consequences. This is not an easy statement to make, but it is the reality we are facing.

<div>Unfortunately, in California, this critical surgery is classified as “cosmetic” and is not covered by insurance. He has exhausted all available government assistance programs, which have provided only minimal coverage for basic exams and cleanings—nowhere near what is needed to truly address the problem.

<div>As some of you know, my little sister Jessie (23) was diagnosed with a very rare aggressive stage 3 cancerous tumor in October of 2021. The last six months have been jam-packed with appointments and treatments, and although she has been set up with a great care team at the Mayo Clinic, who have provided an unbelievable amount of support- for instance, they went to bat for her due to complications with insurance and got the approval to overturn their decision to deny two critical treatments due to her diagnosis and age.

<div>The process of driving to Scottsdale for DAILY appointments/treatments have been very taxing on our family as you all can probably imagine.

<div>She’s officially done with chemotherapy/radiation treatments, as well as surgery that went exceptional! ALL of the cancerous tumor (~2 GRAPEFRUITS!) was completely removed! And her entire care team was EXTREMELY impressed by not only that but by Jessie’s perseverance, resilience, and strong-willed spirit throughout this entire life-altering experience.

Cancer Treatment Costs for Jessie

The Earthship Disaster Relief project will help teach the indigenous people of Tacloban in The Philippines to build an Eco Village that will be sustainable, off grid, and disaster resistant. This area was one of the most severely devastated by Typhoon Hayian in November 2013. The first structure to be built will be a Family Community Center for storing and distributing food and medical supplies. This incredible structure will be made from recycled materials, 100% sustainable and disaster resistant! <br />As a volunteer apprentice, my goal is to raise $2500.00 for volunteer fees=$1000.00, travel=$936.00, camping supplies $250.00 tools=$100.00 vaccinations $275.00, food=$200.00 ++ whatever comes up. That adds up fast, Ideally I would like to raise enough extra money to take a supply of vegetable seeds to donate to the community for growing food and getting off the mono crop of coconuts that they can no longer rely on.
