Support Gotti’s Surgery at Grant Pet Hospital A Heartbreaking Turn for an Active Soul Gotti has always been the picture of health. At 6 years old, his life revolves around two things: his family and his love for movement. Whether he’s keeping up with my son or playing with my grandson, Gotti is happiest when he’s running at full tilt or jumping for joy. Before this he could jump straight up 9 feet. He has never had a health scare in his life—until a split second changed everything. While doing what he loves most—running—Gotti suddenly suffered a severe injury. A trip to the vet confirmed our fears: he has torn his ACL. For a dog whose entire personality is built on being active, being sidelined like this is heartbreaking to watch. The Road to Recovery We have a plan to get Gotti back on his feet, but we can't do it alone. He has been cleared for surgery at Grant Pet Hospital in Springfield, Missouri. The team there is ready to help him, but the cost of the procedure is more than we can manage on our own. This surgery is essential to ensure Gotti can return to a life free of pain. Without it, he won't be able to run, jump, or play with the boys he loves so much. And his sister Bellamaye. His best friend and litermate. He still has so many good years left in him, and we want to make sure those years are spent on four strong legs.
