With great respect and with our hearts in our hands, we write these lines to explain the reason why we are requesting financial assistance. My father suffered a serious accident on a boat. On the night of Friday the 16th, a strong surge knocked him down with great force. The power of the water threw him against the vessel, causing a severe blow to his head and multiple injuries throughout his body. The ribs on his left side were badly affected, his fragile skin was torn, and his body suffered severe bruising. Today, my father is hospitalized in critical condition. He has undergone surgery on his intestine and colon, and now depends on a medical bag for waste. His lungs are compromised, his heart has experienced delicate episodes with risk of pre-heart attacks, and he also suffers from advanced prostate disease. He is currently admitted to a clinic in Ecuador. Unfortunately, we do not have sufficient financial resources to cover the costs of the clinic, surgery, treatments, and medical expenses, which continue to increase day by day. With humility, we ask for your help. Any contribution, no matter how small, represents hope, relief, and another opportunity for life.
