What Diane cares about

I’m reaching out because I’m facing some tough challenges. At 67, living with severe health issues and being an amputee, moving has become incredibly difficult

Environment
My name is Diane, and I am reaching out because I am facing a very difficult time in my life. I am severely disabled and an amputee. Just two months ago, I underwent my second hip surgery, and a year ago, I had major back surgery. Unfortunately, I recently fell and broke the fusion in my spine, which means I now need another extensive back surgery that will last eight hours. The pain and uncertainty have been overwhelming, and I am doing my best to stay strong. Because of my health challenges, I have needed a caretaker to help me recover after each surgery. This has made it difficult to keep up with my rent, and now I am being evicted from my apartment. I was able to pay what I owed to stay until the end of the month, but I must move out by March 31st. I have called every apartment I can find, but the waiting lists are six months to two years long. I am on a fixed income and am terrified of becoming homeless. The funds I raise will go directly toward paying for a moving truck and storage for my furniture and belongings. I have found a nearby storage facility and made a reservation, but I need help covering the costs. Any support—whether helping me move or making a donation—would mean so much to me. I am deeply grateful for any help anyone can give during this difficult time. Thank you for reading my story and for considering helping me.

I'm a 67-year-old person who is an amputee with severe health issues. I'm on a set income! I have severe neuropathy in both legs, so I cannot walk very far. I also had back surgery a year ago, and the surgeon fused my spine from the neck down to my lower back. I need help for moving expenses and for help packing, also my final payment to my apartment complex, which is $450.00 by March 6th. If you can help, please donate ❤️
