Supporting Andrea's Recovery
 
On June 12, 2026, a terrible tragedy occurred in Midland, Texas, and our beloved Andrea was one of the most critically injured victims. Due to the severity of her injuries, she had to be resuscitated and continues to face a long and challenging road to recovery.
 
We are creating this fund to help support Andrea during this incredibly difficult time. As she continues her healing journey, our family is focused on ensuring she has the care, resources, and support she needs every step of the way.
 
We humbly ask for your prayers, encouragement, and support. Any contribution, no matter the amount, will help assist with her recovery and the needs that may arise throughout this journey. Dear friends and family, I write this with a heavy heart, as my family and I are preparing for a journey we never wanted to take. A devoted father, son, grandfather, brother and cherished friend, is facing the final stages of his life in hospice fighting stage 4 esophugus cancer. While he is still with us, we know that the time we have left is precious and limited. As we navigate through this difficult period, we are also faced with the emotional and financial burden of making funeral arrangements. Our goal is to honor my father's life in a way that reflects the love and joy he has brought to all of us. He has always been there for us, offering support, wisdom, and laughter. Now, we want to ensure that we can give him the farewell he truly deserves. We are reaching out for help to alleviate some of the financial stress during this heart-wrenching time. <div>Hello my name is Norma, I’m setting up this account for our family. My husband is Victor Anaya age: 49. He is in stage 5 of kidney failure. We have been battling this disease for about 10yrs now. We are exactly 1yr in with his treatment (Peritoneal Dialysis) It has turned our lives upside down in every way. We have been married for 24yrs. 5/25/23 HE GOT THE CALL! He has a LIVING kidney donor! We do not know the other person, but none of that matters. What does is that he has a chance to regain a normal lifestyle. He has a chance to live a longer life. We will have to travel to DFW area &amp; he can not come home for at least 4 months. We leave June 4,2023 because surgery is scheduled for June 6, 2023. Before anything we ask for prayers for a healthy recovery so we can bring him home as soon as he is released to do so. Lastly we will have to rent a home or Hotel for the entire time he is there along w/other expenses. This is not what I wanted to do but it’s the most logical thing to do at such a short notice. Victor's Kidney Transplant expenses

Jakobi Dashon Mayes is 11 years old. On Friday May 26, 2018 Jakobi was heading to a sleepover with his aunt and his cousins, when a random car pull up beside them and fired six gun shots into the vehicle. One of the bullets struck Jakobi in the head. By the grace of GOD and by Jakobi’s own willpower he walked into the emergency room and told the staff he only had a headache. Jakobi is currently in the hospital still fighting for his life after surviving brain surgery. Jakobi Dashon is the perfect kid and the perfect role model for his 7 year old brother Jakhye and 6 year old step-sister Taliyah. He is an honor student, he is enrolled in Pre-AP classes, he plays the viola in the middle school orchestra (1st Chair), he plays football and baseball, he is a member of student council and he has NEVER received a office referral in his life. We thank GOD for all that he has done thus far but we know there is more work to be done to complete this miracle. Due to Jakobi insurance only covering so much, we are raising money for Jakobi medical expenses, travel expenses as he will need another surgery and tons of physical therapy. We fully believe GOD will see us through and fully heal Jakobi. Our trust is in GOD and we are calling upon any and everyone to help us make this miracle come to past!
