This fundraiser was created in solidarity and support with the millions of Palestinians in Gaza who are being starved en masse by the state of Israel. Israel has restricted all food and aid from crossing into Gaza for the last 70 days, since March 2, 2025. Dozens of children have been killed by starvation and malnutrition, while hundreds of thousands more are at risk of dying from hunger and lack of basic necessities like medicine. This fundraiser is organized by Arron Burden (@arronburden1) during his hunger strike for Gaza. Proceeds will be given directly to Haya Washington, an organization with boots on the ground in Gaza that continues at this moment to feed Palestinians in Gaza. Guy has been working with them for over a year and helped raise thousands to support their work through an online shop fundraiser (WillUBeMyPalestine) During the past 18 months, Haya has been able to aid Palestinians in the most dangerous areas since the genocide started. Even in places the larger organizations couldn’t reach at certain points.
