<div>With great sadness and a heavy heart, I am sharing with you the unexpected passing of an amazing man, husband, father, and friend. Nick Bennett passed away unexpectedly on August 2nd at the young age of 32, leaving behind his wife, Jessie, and their 9 year old son, Ethan.

<div>Nick will be sadly missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. A man who could brighten even the darkest of rooms and a hard worker, who was the sole support to his beautiful family. Jessie and Ethan want him to be remembered for his amazing personality, his contagious laugh, How he loved to help others. Nick Would give the shirt off his back for anyone in need, he was the most kindness and generous soul you could ever meet. He loved his family with his entire heart, and they always came first. And anyone who came into his life felt like family because his heart was always so full of love.

<div>With Nick’s passing comes a great deal of sadness. We would like to raise funds to help Nick’s family with the funeral expenses and ease some of the financial weight for them moving forward.

<div>Hi, I'm Jessica, and I'm reaching out for support for my incredible partner, Joe. Many of you know our journey—Joe is a true survivor, having endured a traumatic car fire that resulted in 80% of his body being covered in 3rd degree burns. After a long battle, he received a groundbreaking face and bilateral hand transplant, becoming an inspiration to thousands around the world.

<div>Despite his remarkable resilience, Joe faces ongoing health challenges. His immune system requires monthly infusions of immunosuppressants, which are crucial to prevent his body from rejecting his transplants. These treatments take place in New York City, and every trip poses a significant risk to Joe’s health. Exposure to the heat, cold, or germs can severely affect his condition.

<div>Currently, Joe's medical team expects him to use public transportation to get to his appointments, but this is not a safe option. As a nurse working in the operating room, I often have to call off work to ensure Joe gets to the city safely. However, this is not sustainable for us in the long term.

<div>We are asking for your support to raise funds that will help us cover the costs of safer transportation options for Joe. This will include rideshare services, private transportation, or any other means that ensure he can travel to his appointments without risking his health.
