<div>Mi nombre es Elaine, tengo 46 años, y hace cinco meses mi vida dio un giro inesperado: fui diagnosticada con cáncer de ovario en estado muy avanzado. En diciembre recibí mi primera sesión de quimioterapia, y desde entonces ha sido una experiencia extremadamente dura. Los tratamientos son muy fuertes: vivo agotada, sin fuerzas, con vómitos constantes, y he perdido 35 kilos en solo tres meses. Cada sesión es una batalla diaria.

<div>Aun así, sigo luchando con todas mis fuerzas por mi hija de 10 años, a quien crío sola y quien es mi motor, mi razón de seguir adelante.

<div>Hace un tiempo salimos de Venezuela hacia Ecuador buscando una vida más estable y segura. A pesar de las dificultades, siempre he intentado darle a mi hija un hogar lleno de amor, calma y esperanza. Hoy, la enfermedad ha puesto un gran peso sobre nosotras.

<div>Los costos de los tratamientos, exámenes, traslados médicos y nuestras necesidades básicas superan completamente mis posibilidades en este momento. Por eso recurro con humildad a su solidaridad. Les traitements sont très lourds : je suis constamment épuisée, sans forces, avec des vomissements incessants, et j’ai perdu 35 kilos en seulement trois mois. Malgré les difficultés, j’ai toujours essayé d’offrir à ma fille un foyer rempli d’amour, de calme et d’espoir. Aujourd’hui, la maladie a mis un poids immense sur nos épaules.

<div>Les coûts des traitements, des examens, des déplacements médicaux et de nos besoins essentiels dépassent complètement mes moyens en ce moment. In December, I had my first chemotherapy session, and since then it has been an extremely difficult experience.
