Valehart was inspired by my dog Bella and the experiences that shaped my life during a difficult period of homelessness and hardship. Bella wasn't just a pet. She was family, a source of comfort, and one of the few constants I could rely on when life felt uncertain. Losing her left a lasting impact on me. Instead of letting that loss become the end of the story, I chose to create something from it. Valehart became a way to channel grief, hope, resilience, loyalty, and the belief that even after loss, we can continue moving forward. Many of the characters, themes, and emotional moments in the project are influenced by real experiences and the lessons Bella taught me about unconditional love and perseverance. At its heart, Valehart is a tribute to her and to everyone who has ever lost someone they loved. To bring Valehart to life, I need a laptop capable of game development, digital art, writing, programming, and content creation. The funds raised will help me purchase the laptop and cover software, development tools, and other project-related expenses. This support will allow me to continue learning, growing, and building something meaningful from my experiences. Every contribution helps move this goal one step closer to reality.
