My name is Dennis, and for many years I struggled to find steady work, barely making ends meet. On top of that, I battled drug addiction for a long time. Seven years ago, everything changed when I found running. It became my lifeline and helped me get clean. As I got clean, my faith in Jesus Christ grew stronger every year. I accepted Christ as my Lord and savior and was baptized in my local church last year. Last year, I accomplished something I never thought possible—I finished my first 50-mile race and came in first place. That victory was more than just a medal; it was proof that I could overcome anything. Now, I have new dreams. I want to compete in even bigger races, and this year, I hope to run the Daytona 100 as my first 100-mile race to celebrate seven years clean. But the costs for the race, hotel, supplements, and training are more than I can afford right now. At the same time, I’ve been working hard to build a new career as a day trader. I’ve spent six years learning the market and developing my own strategies, but I haven’t been able to save enough to get started. Part of my dream as a day trader is to one day help my mom retire and to find a good Christian woman to build a family with. Your support would mean the world to me.
