<div>After a serious fall put me in the hospital for weeks, I began developing BOUNCE™, a patented wearable fall-impact protection system designed to deploy before a person hits the ground.

<div>Early in 2025, my VA vascular surgeon told me she was concerned about my risk of falling. Half-jokingly, she said she wished she could wrap me in bubble wrap.

<div>On Christmas Eve 2025, that joke became painfully real.

<div>I slipped on a dog toy, broke a foot, severely injured my knee, and spent two weeks in the hospital. The pain, recovery, and disruption that followed were significant. During that time, I said more than once that I wished I had been wrapped in bubble wrap.

<div>BOUNCE™ was born from that moment — not as a product idea, but as a response to a real, lived problem.
