A difficult update on our sweet Logan Yesterday was a terrifying and emotional day for our family. After everything that happened, we’re facing some really difficult news about Logan’s health. Unfortunately, her cancer is progressing, and there is a new area of concern. We will be moving forward with chemotherapy as soon as possible, and Logan will need to have a port placed to help with her treatments. Right now, our focus is on getting her the care she needs and taking things one day at a time. As if all of this wasn’t heartbreaking enough, we’ve also had to make the difficult decision to cancel our upcoming Hersheypark trip. Her doctor feels that Logan is currently too unstable for us to safely go. This trip was something we were all looking forward to, and the thought of having to put those happy memories on hold is just another painful reminder of how much cancer continues to take from her. As her mom, I want so badly to give her all the happiness, adventures, and beautiful memories she deserves. I want to fix this. I want to make everything okay. But right now, I’m scared, overwhelmed, and trying to find the strength to face whatever comes next. We are not giving up hope. We are going to keep fighting for Logan, loving her fiercely, and making the most of every moment we have together.
✨ A little Salem adventure with my girl, Logan! ✨ We started the day with a VERY important stop at IHOP for giant stacks of pancakes , grabbed some Crumbl cookies for the road , and headed to Salem for the parade! We watched the parade, did some shopping, and—most importantly—Logan got to see Jack Skellington, her absolute favorite! Seeing her excitement and that big smile made my mama heart so happy. As a cancer mom, I’ve learned to treasure these ordinary days that somehow become the most extraordinary memories. The pancakes, the cookies, the laughter, the little moments, and getting to simply enjoy a day together. We ended our adventure with dinner at Longboards and full hearts. So grateful for days like this—and for every bit of Halloween magic we get to make along the way. ✨ This trip is because of all of you and the love and support you have shown my family. We are for we grateful
A Little Update on Logan We’ve had some really difficult conversations with Logan’s oncology team about what comes next. There isn’t an easy answer, and we’re trying to make the decision that gives Logan the best quality of life and the most happy memories possible. Right now, we’re considering starting her next round of chemo after our Hershey Park trip. The hope is to give Logan this special time to simply be a kid, have fun, laugh, make memories, and enjoy the things she loves before beginning treatment. We know chemo is an important part of her care, and we’ll continue working closely with her doctors and watching her MRIs closely. We just want to be thoughtful about balancing treatment with time that Logan can truly enjoy. ❤️ This journey has taught us that time is incredibly precious. Every day that Logan feels good is a gift, and we want to fill those days with as much love, laughter, and happiness as we possibly can. If you’ve already donated, shared, prayed for Logan, or simply followed along with our journey, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Your support is helping us create memories we will treasure forever. If you’re able to help, even a small donation makes a difference. And if donating isn’t possible, please share Logan’s GoFundMe. You never know who might see it and want to help us give this sweet girl more opportunities to make beautiful memories. Thank you for continuing to love our Logan and our family. We’re taking this one day, one memory, and one moment at a time.
Today we had another difficult but important conversation with Logan’s neuro-oncologist. ❤️ After talking through everything and considering what is best for Logan, we’ve decided to start chemotherapy for four rounds. During this time, she will continue to have MRI scans every two months so we can closely watch for any changes and see how her tumor is responding. This isn’t an easy road, and there are no guarantees about what the future holds. But right now, our focus is quality over quantity. We want Logan to have the happiest, most beautiful life possible for whatever time we are given. We want to make memories, laugh until our stomachs hurt, go places, eat all the favorite foods, celebrate every little thing, and fill her days with as much love and happiness as we possibly can. We’re choosing to focus on living, not just fighting. We know there will be hard days. There will be fear, tears, and moments when we don’t know what to do next. But there will also be love, laughter, adventures, cuddles, and memories that we will carry in our hearts forever. Please continue to keep our sweet Logan in your thoughts and prayers. And please keep walking beside us through this journey. Every message, prayer, share, donation, and act of kindness means more to our family than we could ever put into words. For now, we’re taking it one day at a time and making every single one count. We love you, Logan. More than words could ever say.
Frm the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU. To everyone who has donated, shared Logan’s GoFundMe, sent a message, prayed for her, or simply kept our family in your thoughts—thank you. We truly cannot put into words how much your love and support means to us. Every donation and every share is helping us navigate this incredibly difficult time and, most importantly, make precious memories with Logan. Please continue to share her story and her GoFundMe if you can. Every share helps more than you know. Thank you for standing beside our family and loving Logan with
Meet Logan. ❤️ Logan is kind, sweet, generous, loving, and—if you know her—you know she can be incredibly stubborn. And honestly, that stubbornness has carried her through things no child should ever have to endure. Logan loves her family fiercely. She loves Halloween, Disney, Big Time Rush, Reese’s Cups, being outside, and making memories with the people she loves. But Logan has been fighting something much bigger than any child should ever have to fight. She was only two years old when she was diagnosed with a medulloblastoma. Our family has spent years fighting alongside her. Her cancer returned in 2022, and now we are facing another recurrence. This time, we have been told that Logan’s cancer is terminal. There are no words to adequately explain what it feels like to hear that about your child. So right now, our goal isn’t just to fight a disease. Our goal is to give Logan as much love, joy, laughter, and time with her family as we possibly can. One of the things we desperately want to do is take Logan to Hersheypark. We want to give her a day where she isn’t thinking about cancer. A day where she’s thinking about rides, chocolate, laughing with her family, and having fun. We want to make memories that aren’t centered around hospitals and appointments. We don’t know how much time we have. But we know we want to make the time we do have count. Our $20,000 goal will help us cover essential household expenses and bills during the times I need to step away from work to care for Logan, as well as transportation and expenses associated with her care. It will also allow us to give Logan some special experiences and outings while she is still able to enjoy them. “Help me be my daughter’s mother when she needs me most without losing the ability to keep our family housed and cared for.”
