<div>Heath could really use our help through some difficult times. He has some insurmountable medical expenses stemming from an infection that required 5 surgeries. This has left him unable to work since January. With no income life’s expenses have also become overwhelming. He is still working on gaining strength and hopes to get back to full time work in the future. Many of you know Heath as your pest control tech, he misses you and the interactions he’s enjoyed with you and your pets.

<div>Help out our boy! On March 12, our friend and MAKfam bartender Cade (he/him) was the victim of a hit and run while biking down 11th St in Denver. <strong>He was in the bike lane when a non-commercial truck suddenly pulled out of an alley. Cade hit the side of the truck and the driver promptly ran. He was taken to the hospital by an ambulance.</strong>

<div>Cade’s jaw was fractured in two places, his hand sliced up, and his bike totaled. He required 10 stitches and needs two jaw surgeries. <strong>It will be at least another 6 weeks before he can eat or speak normally. The driver has not yet been found.</strong>

<div>As Cade is currently unable to bartend and his health insurance has not kicked in yet and he cannot work right now, we’d like to help out with his day-to-day, medical, and ambulance costs as much as possible. Complications arose during the first attempt at jaw surgery, so we don't know exactly how much the bills will end up being and we may need to adjust the fundraising goal accordingly.

Help Cade Recover from a Hit & Run while Biking

<div>Hello everyone, I was diagnosed with Diffuse Large B cell Lymphoma Cancer July 28th, have went through the chemo therapy, the hair came back pretty quickly and its been tough trying to get better. I’m trying to stay strong as possible. Bills and  medical expenses are piling up, reaching out for help, it’s quite overwhelming. One of the hardest things for me to do is ask for help. I don’t quite know when I will be able to return back to working again or have a normal life again. The recovery is taking alot longer than I thought from complications in the recovery period being in and out of the hospital with infections. Trying to get over a bad lung infection pneumonia and pulmonary embolism in the lung, that put me in the hospital for 17 days last month and I’ve been with oxygen supplementation since. Any contributions would be greatly appreciated.

Rachel is raising funds for her neighbor's son, who recently experienced a traumatic accident at the local bike park. While riding with friends, he went over the track embankment and collided with a tree. Despite wearing a helmet, he sustained serious injuries, including facial trauma, a skull fracture, a brain bleed, and seizures. He was urgently transferred by helicopter from Children’s Hospital in Highlands Ranch to the Aurora campus, where he spent six days receiving intensive care. Rachel’s children are close friends with him, and their families have always supported each other.

 This fundraiser has been created to help ease the financial burden of the medical bills resulting from his accident. The costs of emergency transport, hospital stays, and ongoing care are significant, and Rachel hopes to rally the community to support the family during this difficult time.
