<p>Hello, my name is Larissa dos Santos Ebbing. I am 21 years old, from Brazil, and I want the opportunity to study Psychology at Brigham Young University–Idaho. 
</p><br />
<p>This dream means everything to me. 
</p><br />
<p>During my LDS mission, I went through experiences that changed my life. There were moments when I felt overwhelmed and unsure, but I was blessed with people who showed me Christlike love, patience, and understanding. That support lifted me when I needed it most—and it inspired me to want to do the same for others. 
</p><br />
<p>I want to become someone who helps people feel seen, heard, and supported, especially those going through difficult emotional and spiritual challenges. That is why I chose to study Psychology. 
</p><br />
<p>But this dream comes with a challenge. 
</p><br />
<p>As an international student, the cost of tuition, housing, and living expenses is more than my family and I can afford on our own. We are doing everything we can, but I still need help to make this possible. 
</p><br />
<p>It is not easy for me to ask, but I truly cannot do this alone. 
</p><br />

<div>Ryan Roberts, beloved father of 7 and husband of 18 years, passed away unexpectedly after a long hard battle with PTSD from serving two tours for our country in the Army. He leaves behind a wife and seven children. We are raising funds to pay for funeral expenses as well as helping Jen move forward as a single mom.  Our hearts are broken. <div>Hi! My name is Amanda Jane Jones—I'm fundraising for Milo Baker (Brennon and Hillaree Baker are his parents) because he is very sick and his family needs our help. When our family was in need, Milo’s parents helped and sacrificed for us in so many ways. They would never ask for this, but I know that collectively, if we all pitch in a little, it can go a long way.

<div>In normal life, Milo is exceptionally active. He does backflips, bikes, skis, plays soccer and is a wonderful help at home and is so kind.

<div>In the last week of March, Milo had a fever that lasted for a week. He was diagnosed with the Mono Virus. For 5 weeks, Milo was exhausted and had trouble finding the energy to carry on with regular activity. On Friday, April 29th, Milo began exhibiting extreme weakness- like drifting from side to side and nearly collapsing as he walked.

<div>On Sunday, May 1st, Milo was taken to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center (EIRMC). He was diagnosed with Guillain Barre Syndrome (GBS) and was taken to the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, where he has been ever since. During this time at the hospital, Milo has lost nearly all mobility and his speech. He can now only communicate by moving his eyes to indicate yes or no.

<div>FROM MILO’S PARENTS: “It breaks our hearts to see him in this state. We are prayerful and hopeful that he will begin showing signs of improvement soon. Milo will be released from the hospital once he can perform basic functions on his own. It is expected that this will take weeks if not months to get to this point. We are not sure what the future looks like, but the odds are in Milo's favor that he can make a full recovery at some point...”

<div>The recovery <em>after</em> the pediatric hospital (whenever they make it there) can take years and years, so Milo has a long road ahead of him. Milo has to see many specialists; some aren’t covered on his insurance. These many days in the hospital have taken a toll on their family.  This family needs a miracle, and I’d love to help them out. Milo Baker needs a miracle!

<div>I am fundraising for my brother Oliver who caught COVID19 and had to go to the emergency room, things did not improve over there and it was also discovered he suffers from diabetes and high blood pressure to complicate things, he is still in the ICU fighting to recover, Oliver has a large family with 7 children who are still very young and need help since he is unable to work and provide for his family, they need all the help and support we can give them.

Covid -19 Recovery and Support

<p>As many in the community have heard Taj and Taven Cornum were in a rollover accident the night of Aug. 15th. Both boys were life flighted to Colorado Springs and unfortunately Taj(20 years old) passed away on the 16th and Taven(16 years old) is still fighting for his life in the ICU. Not only is the pain and stress astronomical but the medical bills and funeral costs will be as well. Please help this amazing family out and try to lighten the financial burden of this horrible tragedy. Anything will be greatly appreciate, thank you for all the thoughts and prayers!!!!
