Tails In Transition

Hi, we are Tails in Transition: Rescue & Foster; we are a none profit independently run rescue so we are reaching out for help to fund Frigg’s urgent medical care. Frigg and her four kittens were found outside a car dealership by a lovely woman that surrendered her to our care. She was heavily bloated and swollen when she came to us, upon further investigation we found she has a severe open (suspected) collar wound in her armpit. She has been taken to the vets and had it initially cleaned, stitched up and spayed along side medication however despite crate rest she has managed to open the wound back up and now it is heavily infected even with all the antibiotics and cleaning care we provided. She is currently admitted (as of 5/8/25) back at the vets under supervision as they try to clean and promote the wound to heal before they try to restitch it closed either tomorrow or a few days after depending on the severity of the infection. Due to where the wound is it’s really hard to treat and heal, it is a high mobility area, so wounds like this tend to reopen multiple times before they successfully close/heal. All money raised will be going towards Frigg’s medical bills and if anything is left over will solely go towards the rescues expenses (future vet bills, cat food, etc…)
