Hello, my name is Sebastien, and thank you for taking a moment to read my story. I’ve always tried to live my life with honesty, kindness, and hard work. I studied in college, earned two diplomas, spent years working in technology, and always did my best to help others. But the past few years have been the hardest period of my life, and I’ve reached a point where I need to ask for help. Last year, I faced a serious heart condition that brought my heart function down to 10%. I underwent major surgery to replace my aortic valve, and although the procedure helped, my heart is still only working at about 20%. Every day is a challenge. I’m working hard to stay strong, follow medical advice, and keep going — but the physical limitations have made it extremely difficult to work or support myself. Because of the medical complications, the debt from being unable to work, and my living situation, I’ve reached a point where I’m struggling with even the basics: Medication costs Food and groceries Maintaining a safe and comfortable home environment Saving for a small, reliable car so I can get to medical appointments safely I don’t have much family support, and I’m doing this on my own. I’m not asking to live luxuriously — just for enough stability to take care of my health and meet my basic needs while I continue my recovery. Your help would mean more than I can express. Every dollar will go directly toward: Keeping my medications filled Keeping food in my home Covering essential living expenses Saving toward a safe, small vehicle for appointments Reducing the immediate financial pressure so I can focus on healing I know many people are going through difficult times. I don’t believe my struggles are more important than anyone else’s — but this is where I am right now, and I’m choosing to be honest and vulnerable.
