Maniche, Haiti is a community with so much potential, and Gina is raising funds to help bring an important vision to life for the people there: a community center built for the community itself. Right now, community centers are largely nonexistent in Haiti, and Maniche would benefit greatly from having a welcoming place where people can come together, connect with resources, and share ideas that can help change lives. This center could become a place for afternoon school programs, pantries, cultural events, children’s activities, and gun violence prevention efforts. It could also be a space where community members offer suggestions about what services and support the center should provide, so it truly reflects the needs of Maniche. Funds from this fundraiser will help build the center and start the programs that can bring hope, connection, and opportunity to the community of Maniche. Gina is asking friends, neighbors, and kind supporters to help make this vision possible. Every donation, no matter the size, can help create a space where people feel supported, heard, and encouraged.
