<div>My name is Amanda, and I’m currently in treatment and recovery after surviving a traumatic brain injury from being shot in the head on July 27th, 2021. Through everything, my dog has been my constant companion. I rescued her from Minneapolis animal control over five years ago, and she has been my everything ever since. She gives me a reason to keep going, even on the hardest days, and her unconditional love is the only thing that has ever made me feel truly cared for.

<div> Right now, I’m facing a lot on my own. I don’t have family or close friends to lean on, and my dog is the only one who has stood by me through it all. She needs help with vet bills and daily necessities, and I also need support for doggie daycare while I attend treatment every day. Everything I have goes to her care, and I wouldn’t have it any other way, but I’ve reached a point where I need a little help to keep us together and make sure she’s safe and healthy.
