<div>Hello! My name is Amanda. I am the Owner and tull-time board member at Ryoho Inclusive Martial Arts. We have now begun fundraising for our community to include a one-on-one Martial Arts program for members starting at age 9 who live with physical disabilities, developmental and intellectual delays or anxiety and trauma related diagnosis. This is an incredible trauma informed program.

<div>Many people live with developmental and intellectual delays. In, addition, they may have comorbidity of diagnosis of emotional dysregulation. This includes persons who have experienced trauma in some form or another. Physical movement that regulates the mind/body connection and the awareness of our movements in relation to the world around us can be therapeutic and cathartic. This is critical in regulating emotional wellness, muscle memory, stress relief, strength, confidence, self-efficacy and empowerment. Each person served would have an Individualized plan suited to their abilities and skill set. Ensuring progress, milestone celebrations and meetings with parents/caregivers to go over goals and results.

<div>Our Instructors are knowledgeable in boxing, kickboxing and specialized caregiving. All we need is our community to support us in stabilizing a place to support our members who choose this activity as their therapy to have the support they need to make it through their challenges.
