My granddaughter and I are facing a very difficult chapter in our lives. After the heartbreaking loss of my son, I became her primary caregiver. As someone who is older and living with a disability, I am doing everything I can to provide her with the love, care, and stability she deserves. Unfortunately, her mother does not want custody or any contact, so it’s just the two of us navigating this new reality together. We are hoping to create a fresh start by securing a piece of land and placing a tiny home on it for us to live in. This would give us both the stability and safety we need, and a place to finally call our own. It’s not easy to ask for help, but I know that with the support of kind people, we can build a brighter future together. Any contribution will be greatly appreciated!
