<div>My name is Daniel Herion. I'm 34 and from New York. I moved to South Carolina to give my family (wife and 3 step kids) a better life with a slower pace. Everything was working out until I fell on hard times.

<div>When I moved to South Carolina, I found out it was hard to get a job that pays enough to take care of my family, but I found one (4 months later) and was excited to get back to work. However, the pay didn't cut it. I was living check to check with no breathing room. Then my son was born, and I had to find a new job to be able to take care of my family. It was a struggle, but I found one (1 year later). I began working as a warehouse associate for Harbor Freight, and things began to come together. I had 2 more children, another son and a daughter. I was confident that I could handle things because of my job, but then I got sick and ended up losing my job.

<div>So, I started doing small side jobs (grocery delivery, Uber Eats, etc.), and I was able to keep up with the bills until I missed a few payments due to my vehicle breaking down. Now the bills are out of hand, and it seems like no matter how hard I try to catch up, I can't. Now I feel as if I'm letting my family (wife and 6 kids) down by not being able to handle business.

<div>On top of everything, I recently found out my brother that lives in Connecticut is living on borrowed time, and the only thing keeping him alive is the medication he's on. But the doctors say it's not guaranteed that he'll be alive for much longer, and his birthday is coming up. He told me all he wants is to see his brothers before it's his time to close his eyes. <strong>Now I'm stuck trying to take care of my family and trying to get to my brother before it's his time.</strong>

<div>I've been applying for jobs since I lost my job at Harbor Freight, but things aren't looking too good. It's been nearly 3 months since I lost my job, bills are piling up, and I'm close to losing everything while slowly but surely losing my brother.
