Just three months ago, on April 8th, our lives changed forever when we lost my beautiful nieces Mercedes and her precious 5-year-old daughter Ariana in a tragic accident that touched so many across Oklahoma. Many of you may remember that heartbreaking day. As we remember Mercedes and Ariana, our hearts also remain with the family of Trooper Vernon Brake who lost his life as well. We continue to keep his loved ones in our prayers.

 In the midst of heartbreak, we witnessed our community wrap our family in love and support. That kindness carried us, and we will never forget it. Today, we reach out with hope. On October 30th, Aliyah will celebrate her 15th birthday. Alyiah has dreamed of her Quinceañera for years. It was also one of Mercedes’ biggest dreams.

 This October will be especially hard. Aaliyah has celebrated her birthday the last five years with her sister Ariana. Their birthdays are only a few days apart. This will be her first without her mom or her sister. We can’t fill the empty places in her heart. But we can make sure she is surrounded by love. A Quinceañera is more than a party. It’s a celebration of family, faith, tradition, and new beginnings. Our hope is to give Aliyah a day that fills her with joy and beautiful memories.

Alyiah’s Quinceañera Dream

Jimmy Fogle was a cherished member of the Champion family for over 21 years. He was more than just a colleague—he was a friend to everyone and a true legend in our workplace. Jimmy had hoped to continue working until he was 70, but sadly, we lost him just after his 68th birthday. His passing was sudden and has left all of us heartbroken.

 Jimmy’s kindness, dedication, and sense of humor touched everyone he met. He made a lasting impact on his coworkers and friends, and his absence will be deeply felt by all who knew him. A Beautiful Farewell for Vaidan Freeman

<div>On December 6, 2025, at 12:47 am, <strong>Richie Rich was called to heaven to be with his Lord and Savior</strong>!!! He was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer on Thanksgiving and died 9 days later!! The family is wanting to fulfill his wishes and have a celebration of life for him because that is what he asked for.

Thank you for taking the time to consider supporting <strong>Hauli Sioux Gray</strong>, a beautiful person on the inside and out. Hauli has been diagnosed with Stage 4 breast cancer that was originally in her left breast and was treated with chemotherapy, radiation, mastectomy, &amp; reconstruction in 2017. In 2018, she got a clean bill of health and was considered cancer free. After almost 7 years, her breast cancer has returned on the lining of her right lung.

<div>Hauli's world turned upside down when she lost her mom, Lois Ann Warrior, on July 4, 2024, &amp; was having trouble breathing during the funeral, but prioritized laying her mother to rest. The day after the funeral, Hauli was admitted to the hospital for difficulty breathing from fluid build up in the lining of her right lung. She had a week-long hospital stay where she had a PleurX drain placed in her chest between her ribs &amp; lining of the lung. The PleurX drain allows us to drain the fluid from her lung at home, which is done every other day. This is needed due to the masses found in her lung constantly draining fluid. At this point, we know she will need chemotherapy again, which should dry up the fluid, &amp; then the lung drain can hopefully be removed as it is extremely painful. The PET Scan showed the cancer had not spread anywhere else &amp; is isolated in the lining of her lung, however she will need to be on medication the remainder of her life to help keep the cancer from returning.

<div><strong>Hauli has a long road ahead of doctor's appointments and treatments. With this comes the cost of gas, medical equipment, bills, and life expenses that don't stop, no matter the circumstances.</strong>

<div>If you don't know Hauli, let me tell you a little about her. Hauli is a 40-year-old vibrant woman. She is a wonderful wife and mother as well as an education student advisor helping students who need additional support and a very active community member. She has an incredibly supportive husband of 14 years, and two beautiful children, ages 11 and 9 along with a 17-year-old niece she is helping to raise in the home. She is also a daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin, aunt, grandma, and friend...the list is endless as to who she is to so many people. She goes above and beyond for those around her and if you've known her, you know that words cannot describe her zest for life, her love for her family and friends, and what a bright light she is on this earth. She is an angel and has touched so many people's lives.

<div>Update September 4, 2024: Hauli had her first round of chemotherapy on August 13, 2024 which included 2 chemo's called herceptin &amp; perjeta. Her body has responded well and her lung has started to heal and is no longer draining fluid onto her lung. Her Oncologist says this is very promising as her type of cancer seems to be super sensitive to the chemo. She is starting her 2nd round of treatment today which will include a 3rd chemo medication called taxotere, which will unfortunately take her hair. Her Oncologist has scheduled to have her lung drain removed which will be a huge relief as it is extremely painful. Please continue to keep her prayer.

<div>September 18, 2024: Hauli's hair has began to fall out. Today, she will braid her hair for the last time &amp; her sisters/family will help shave her head. Native people have always viewed their hair as a source of strength so this day will be tough. No matter how much you prepare for this, it's traumatizing. Not only for Hauli, but the entire family. Please keep her and the family in prayer today and the days to come.

Support Hauli Sioux Gray's Battle with Cancer

<div>Hi my name is Courtney, and I am wanting to help a very kind man who came into my life through a family member. He happened to be looking for an emotional support dog while I was trying to re-home ours to a loving person. While getting to know him I found out he really needed help with a car (he does not have one) and has been living off of almost nothing a month! He needs a little boost to help him get a car so he can start selling his art or make it to work!

<div>I’m a veteran of the US Navy, honorable discharge. After the Navy I went back to school. I worked full time and went to school at night. I received an associate of arts degree. After graduating I got my first job in publishing that lead to a 30 plus year career. After leaving publishing I became severely depressed. I had a plan to commit suicide. I spent all my money and then I tried to end it all. I woke up in the ICU. I had been unconscious for 2 days. After that I came back home to Oklahoma. I thought I had things worked out but the depression got the best of me. I then tried to die again. This time when I woke up and had no where to go. I was homeless. My family shunned me. So I reached out to the VA. They put me in a temporary home for veterans with substance abuse and mental health problems.

<div>Two weeks later I was sitting on a  bed bug infested bed and i wrote this poem:

<div>After writing that poem I decided it was time to figure this out. I dove into therapy and started from the beginning. I talked and took courses, and researched. I devoted the last three years to getting better. And I have. I work with a psychiatrist; I take the appropriate meds and I can honestly say I am the best person I have ever been.
</div>
<div>But during all this I lost everything. I live in an apartment that the Oklahoma housing helps me with. I make a little money from a disability I got in the Navy. I don’t have a car. And the nearest bus stop is a mile and a half away.
</div>
<div>It would be wonderful to have a car and be independent. I have two grandkids in Iowa I have never met. I want to go see them. 
</div>
<div>I am a humbled man. I try to be the best I can be. I spread kindness everywhere i go. 
</div>
<div>Lastly a very kind couple gave me a dog. It’s the best thing to happen in a long time. We are fast becoming best friends. I love him so much and he has changed my life.
