Matteo Rosales-Romero, the beloved baby boy of Alejandra and Douglas, is facing a serious medical challenge. On January 2nd, he will undergo surgery to remove his left kidney—a procedure that has brought unexpected stress and financial strain to his family. Despite their best efforts, insurance coverage is not enough to meet the high costs of hospital bills, surgical care, and the ongoing recovery that Matteo will need. 
 
 
 Alejandra, known for her leadership and kindness in the Latino community of Johnson City, and Douglas, a devoted father, have always been there for others. Now, their family needs support as they navigate this difficult time. The expenses go beyond the surgery itself, including follow-up care, travel to and from the hospital, lodging, and time away from work so Alejandra and Douglas can be by Matteo’s side every step of the way.
