I am raising funds to help rebuild my family's life after a series of life-changing events that have created significant medical, emotional, and financial hardship. More than a decade ago, I was seriously injured in a drunk-driving accident that left lasting effects on my health. In recent years, my children and I have also experienced a difficult family crisis that ultimately required us to leave our home to ensure their safety and well-being. Because the home we lived in for 14 years was not in my name and we were never married, I was forced to start over with very little while taking on the responsibility of caring for my two young children. We are currently living with family while working to rebuild stability and create a safe, consistent future. Despite these challenges, my children continue to do well in school and have shown incredible resilience. My focus remains on providing them with a stable home, reliable transportation, school support, and the resources they need to thrive. I am currently waiting on SSDI, a process that can take many months, and I am seeking temporary assistance with essential living expenses while we work through this transition. My name is Zach, and I am the father of two incredible children, ages 6 and 8. Like many families, we never expected our lives to change so dramatically. Over the years, our family faced a series of difficult challenges, including serious health issues, disabilities, financial hardship, and the loss of a parent. As a result of injuries and medical complications, I now live with disabilities that affect my daily life, including expressive aphasia, which makes communication difficult. Despite these challenges, my children remain my greatest motivation. Every day, I work to provide them with the love, stability, and support they deserve. In a short period of time, our family experienced the loss of our home, significant legal and financial expenses, and the emotional impact of losing someone we loved. We went from having a stable home and established life to starting over with very little. Today, my children and I share a single room while we work to rebuild our future. Although the circumstances have been difficult, we remain hopeful. My goal is simple: to create a safe, stable, and loving home where my children can grow, learn, and enjoy being kids.
