I started Creative Healing because I know firsthand how powerful art and creativity can be when life feels overwhelming. Through my own journey with grief, trauma, mental health struggles, and substance abuse, I discovered that creative expression is a lifeline—a way to process pain, find hope, and connect with others. I want to make sure that anyone in my community who needs this kind of healing has access to the tools and support that made such a difference for me.
This project is dedicated to helping people facing challenges like substance abuse, domestic abuse, low income, physical or mental disabilities, youth in the community, and anyone who uses creativity and art for healing but doesn’t always have access to supplies or encouragement. With your support, I’ll be able to purchase craft supplies, assemble curated boxes and care packages, and cover shipping and packaging costs so kits reach people who need them most. Funds will also help provide materials for community workshops and modest stipends for creators who donate their time and talent to assemble and design the kits.
If you’d like to help, you can visit www.creativehealingfund.com to send physical art supplies (new or used in good condition), make a donation, or share this fundraiser with your friends and family. You can also apply to receive healing boxes on nominate someone you think could benefit from our help! Every bit of support helps bring creative healing to someone who needs it. Thank you for believing in this mission and helping us build a more hopeful, creative community together.
