<div>This morning, our friend Gary experienced a devastating house fire that destroyed his home in Donalda, Alberta.

<div>Gary is a senior living in a very rural, off-grid area, and tragically, he did not have insurance. In a matter of hours, he lost everything — his home, his belongings, and the basic necessities we all rely on every day.

</div>
<div>Donalda is a small, remote community with no local stores or services, which makes this situation even more challenging. Access to essentials like food and clothing requires travel, planning, and support — things that are incredibly difficult in a crisis like this.

<div>Right now, Gary needs immediate help with:

<div>•	Basic living needs Including water for his well and a power source for the pump so water is available for himself and his cattle

<div>•	Clothing and personal essentials
</div>
<div>•	Food and day-to-day necessities

<div>•	Supplies and materials to eventually rebuild a modest home

<div>Gary is a private, independent person who has always lived simply and taken care of himself. This is an incredibly difficult situation, and he would not ask for help on his own — which is why we are coming together as friends and community to support him during this time.

<div>In July, I lost everything I owned in an electrical house fire. My home, my memories, my sense of security.. gone in an instant. The kind of devastation you hear about, but never think will happen to you.

<div>The severe pain, nausea, exhaustion, it never ends. I can barely get out of bed some days and I've been hospitalized. My body is a stranger, betraying me in ways I never thought possible. Simple tasks that I once did without a second thought, are now sometimes nearly impossible.

<div>The hardest part is the feeling of losing myself. Losing the independence I worked so hard to build.

<div>This isn’t how I saw my life turning out. I had so many plans, so many things I wanted to do, and now… now I’m just trying to make it through each day. And it’s getting harder.

<div>We would like to celebrate and honour the life of Mike, a life that we were all fortunate enough to be a part of. He was an amazing friend and a part of our family for 22 years. Mike was many things to many people, always sharing the best parts of what made him, him.

<div>Mike did not wish to have a service, his beautiful spirit couldn’t stand the thought of causing a single tear to be shed. So, we decided to throw a party in his honour instead. We never listened to him before when he dug his heels in and we aren’t going to start now haha.. We all know that Mike with his giant heart, kind soul and generous nature would have done the same for any of us. He was truly a legend and deserves a send off as such.

<div>We would like to make a place where everyone can share stories and memories while toasting to our dear friend. Funds will go towards hall rental (insurance) food, refreshments, entertainment and of course Diet Coke and vodka. Pulling out all the stops, a real banger Wolansky style.

If we should surpass that amount from generous donations or have any remaining funds it will be given to his family to help with the cost of cremation. <div>My name is Meg and I am fundraising on behalf of my mom Jena. On Mother’s Day (May 14th 2023) my mom woke Landon up in the early hours complaining of not being able to breathe. She started to change color and Landon quickly started CPR before paramedics came.  After being rushed to the hospital, and having to do numerous tests Landon (my moms husband) was told that she had a major heart attack, and is now on blood thinners, and Iv and is being stabilized by medications, and a breathing tube as she cannot breathe on her own..

<div>The doctors have told him that mom had been unconscious for long time and they don’t know her brain stability from lack of consistent oxygen before she had been stabilized in the hospital. They have moved my mom in the ICU. She is not sedated and on full life support and dialysis.  We were also told the brain isn’t responding how they want yet. Today, she is scheduled for a CT to check on the brain activity as that is still unknown, . She has lost a lot of oxygen while given CPR.

<div>Landon and I have been praying and speaking to her in hopes she can hear us, we have asked if people can send voice messages to us as well so when she wakes up she can hear all the love and support around her.

<div>If you know my mom, you likely know that asking for help from her community is not without an immense amount of consideration and care. She is someone who walks with people through incredible adversity and still moves with the lightest of hearts. We are kindly asking for donations so that Landon and I can remain close to her. We do not plan on leaving her side and continue fighting as hard as we can.

A miracle for our Wonder Woman

Jett has had 5 brain surgeries &amp; 2 bowel surgeries now. He just got a new diagnosis of cerebral palsy &amp; had already had the diagnosis’ of cerebral blindness, &amp; hydrocephalus. They told us he has a small chance of ever being able to walk. But we are trusting in God that he had bigger &amp; better plans then that. 

We are struggling to make ends meet &amp; have a lot of medical bills &amp; have lots of therapies and surgeries in our foreseeable future. 

We are doing what we can to call on our friends &amp; family to help us during this extremely difficult time.
