<div>On Monday, May 26th, 2025, our lives changed forever.

<div>We - Cheyenne (17), Lilly (15), Gwendolyn (14), and Brienne (10) witnessed our father lose his life in a horrific domestic violence incident right in front of our home in Miami, FL. The trauma of seeing him shot and killed in our front yard is something we are still trying to process.
</div>

</div>
<div>This is a pain no child should ever endure.
</div>

</div>
<div>In the days that followed, we were forced to move suddenly from our home due to the overwhelming emotional weight of the tragedy, ongoing media attention, and the unrelenting presence of strangers who forgot we are just kids, trying to grieve.
</div>
<div><strong>This tragedy has added a weight no one could carry alone. That’s why we’re asking for help.</strong>

<div>The funds raised will be used to help us rebuild and begin healing in the following ways:

<div>• Intense therapy for each of us, especially our youngest sister, Brienne, who has been deeply affected.
</div>
<div>• A therapy dog to bring comfort, companionship, and emotional support - especially for Brienne.
</div>
<div>• Housing and basic needs after our sudden move.
</div>
<div>• Education: Cheyenne is graduating high school next year and dreams of becoming a forensic pathologist. College is on the horizon for all of us, and we want to pursue those dreams no matter what life has thrown at us.

Help the Harper sisters rebuild their life after a tragedy

<div>As many of our close friends and family know Jessica Williams passed on July 3rd while at work. This news has devastated so many of us in so many ways, and it was something we were all shocked by. She had no plans set in place, and thanks to the efforts of some we have managed to take a few steps despite it being so hard. We wish to hold a celebration of life, in true pirate style, as well as give some aid and comfort to her family and loved ones. Not the least of which being Justin, her fiancé whom we all know she loved so much and who made her smile the brightest. Anything you can offer would be greatly appreciated goal be damned.

Sameera Ghawi went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, March 7th, 2021 at 6:01pm after a sudden and unexpected medical emergency. She is survived by her husband Tony and daughters Jacqueline Roberts and Jessica Ghawi. Estimates of the costs of her medical expenses are in the range of $85,000, but we are waiting to receive the final bill. We ask for your spiritual, emotional, and financial support in this time of need.<br /><br />On Monday March 1, 2021 at 4:30am mom woke up with bad headaches. She was rushed to the hospital. Homestead Hospital diagnosed it as a brain aneurysm but they weren't properly equipped or staffed to handle her treatment. She was complaining of lots of pain and the doctor's put her into a medically-induced coma.<br /><br />She was then taken by ambulance to Baptist Hospital where she underwent surgery to release the pressure and attempt to stop the bleeding. They cauterized the vessel that burst but they discovered a second aneurysm during the surgery, and that the second aneurysm led her to have a stroke. Due to the amount of blood in the brain from both arteries rupturing mom suffered severe brain damage. The doctors described the damage as catastrophic.<br /><br />Mom remained in a coma the entire time. On Sunday March 7th, she was declared to have minimal brain activity. The doctors removed ventilator and she passed on her own at 6:01pm.<br /><br />Sameera Ghawi leaves a legacy of love, fierce commitment, faithfulness, gentleness, selflessness, and wisdom. We are beyond blessed to have the privilege to know her as wife, mother, sister, auntie, and friend. We miss her dearly in ways that words cannot express, yet we are comforted in the knowledge that she is in glory with her Heavenly Father and free from the suffering of this life.
