<div>My name is Kayla and I am setting up this donation for my sister Amy. Last week she had complications in her pregnancy that has landed in her at Albany Medical Center until she delivers her baby. She is currently now 32 weeks pregnant but doctors are doing their best to get baby to stay and grow until 34 weeks. She has developed placenta previa, percreta, and acreta. Due to these diagnosis's Amy is at very high risk of bleeding before and during surgery. Amy has been having issues throughout this entire pregnancy that has not allowed her to work and Mike, her husband, has been able to pick up overtime shifts to suffice bills. Now that Amy is at the hospital until further notice he has been limited when he can work although they have been receiving so much support from friends and family bills are always going to be due. I am setting up this to help alleviate some stress of this entire situation. If you would like to donate dinners or something else you can contact myself, Amy, or Michael. <div>Hi everyone, my daughter’s really good friend/family <strong>lost everything in a house fire at 2am in the morning on 10/26/2024.</strong> A single mother (Dana) with two teen boys (Ben and Cody) were luckily able to get out along with their dog and 2 cats. As a community and local Hemstreet neighbor, they really could use the help in any way, even if it’s just a share of the post. We all know insurance takes forever and any amount to help them with all their needs during and for after when they can start to rebuild is needed. There can never be enough help or support when you have lost everything. Thank you everyone!

Help Hemstreet Gleeson Family Rebuild After Fire

<br />Mom was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis when my brother Vince was born (1988). She led a pretty normal life until her MS began to progress in 2006. My dad immediately stepped up as her awesome caregiver and supporter, but after losing him to Cancer in 2010, she's been left with no income, and a very tight budget centered around paying caregivers for 24 hour care. <br /><br />The 26th of January was mom's birthday, and her first time out of the house since early November! She broke her arm the day before my wedding, and in combination with her paralysis from the neck down (can't move, but can still feel pain), it has been a rough recovery. She can no longer sit upright in a normal chair (or car for that matter), and being stuck in the house has been a serious drain on her quality of life. <br /><br />Straight to the point: Mom needs a van with a wheelchair lift. This means she will be able to be loaded into a vehicle while remaining in her wheelchair. A vehicle with this ability will dramatically increase her quality of life.<br /><br />My mom is the most generous person I know, and she has been giving everything she can to people in need for her entire life. She has no idea that I am posting this for her, and I'm hoping to meet this goal to surprise her with a van :) It would be amazing to include all of you in directly improving a wonderful, deserving person's life. <br /><br />Anything you can contribute is greatly appreciated, even if its just sharing this page with your friends and family.
