My family and I are going through an incredibly difficult time. Just a week ago, my wife passed away after a long and very painful battle with uterine cancer. Since June of last year, we spent countless days at the doctor and in the hospital. The loss has left us heartbroken, and we are now facing a mountain of medical bills from her treatment, along with the expenses of her funeral.
On top of this, I am the primary caregiver for my 39-year-old son, who has Down syndrome and requires 24-hour care. While I do my best to support him and keep our lives as stable as possible, I still need to work to provide for our family. I am now looking to hire a caregiver—someone who can be there for my son while I am at work—so that he can continue to receive the attention and support he needs as an adult.
The financial strain of these combined challenges is overwhelming. I am reaching out for help to cover the medical bills, funeral costs, and, most importantly, to secure ongoing care for my son. Any support, no matter how small, would make a tremendous difference for us right now. If you can find it in your heart to give, please know that your kindness would mean the world to me and my son. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for considering our family during this difficult time.
