<div>We're Colchester Makerspace, a creative hub run by local artists and makers. We really need your help. Our trusty kiln is ready for retirement, and we're raising £10,000 to replace it with a new, energy-efficient model.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Why a new kiln? </strong>
</div>
<div>It's the heart of our ceramics studio, and a modern kiln will let us continue to provide affordable access to vital tools while being kinder to the planet.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Here’s where we are:</strong>
</div>
<div>— £3,000 has been generously pledged by the <a href="https://www.herveybenhamtrust.org.uk" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><strong>Hervey Benham Charitable Trust</strong></a>.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>— £2,500 is <a href="https://gofund.me/a8340194" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><strong>being raised</strong></a> by our co-founder, Marc De'ath, who is cycling an incredible 170 miles<strong> </strong>from Colchester Makerspace to Spode Works Centre home to our friends the <a href="https://www.britishceramicsbiennial.com/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><strong>British Ceramics Biennial</strong></a> in Stoke-on-Trent.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>— This leaves us with a goal of £4,500 to raise from our community!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Your support, no matter the size, helps us empower local artists, promote sustainable practices, and keep the spirit of making alive in Colchester.
</div>
<div><br />

<div><strong>Support Marc's Ride</strong>
