What they care about

I care about family and friends, and Jesus and little babies and puppies! If I have those things I’m happy 😍

My name is William, and I am facing an incredibly difficult journey with my health. I have been diagnosed with head and neck cancer, as well as two different types of kidney cancer. The treatments and surgeries have been life-altering. I can no longer speak because my voice box was removed, and half of my leg was used to reconstruct my neck. On top of this, I was recently hit by a car while walking my dogs, which resulted in a broken collarbone that still hasn’t healed properly and required additional surgery. My medical needs are ongoing and complex. I require continuous therapy for my neck, and because of the extensive tissue damage, I will need this care for the rest of my life. Eating is no longer possible in the usual way, so I rely on a g-tube in my stomach, and the supplies and care for this are a constant necessity. I have mounting bills from dozens of surgeries, including a 13-hour operation to repair my neck, and I now undergo regular throat stretching procedures—14 so far and counting. The costs for these treatments, along with ongoing doctor visits and therapy for my shoulder injury from the accident, are overwhelming. I am reaching out for help to manage these never-ending medical expenses. Your support will go directly toward my therapy, surgeries, medical supplies, and the care I need to maintain my quality of life. Any contribution, no matter the size, will make a real difference in my fight to keep going. Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for considering a donation.
