My name is Kaylee, and I’m a single mom to two amazing kids. Life has thrown us some tough challenges lately, and I’m reaching out for help as I work to bring my family back together. Recently, I lost my car because it was repossessed. As a full-time Uber driver, my car was my livelihood, and without it, I lost my job. With no income, I couldn’t keep up with rent, so I moved in with a friend. My mom offered to watch my kids while I got back on my feet, but after just thirty days, she filed for and was granted temporary emergency custody of my children. I’ve always done my best to provide for my kids, but with no support from their fathers and the rising cost of living, it’s been impossible to keep up on my own. Getting support from this fundraiser would mean everything to my kids and me. I haven’t done anything wrong—I’ve been fighting every day to keep us together. With your help, I can get a car, secure a place to live, and hire a lawyer to fight for my family. Thank you for reading my story, for sharing, and for being soul family to us.
