<div>My name is Britney Paddy, and I'm raising money for Ashley's best friend and furbaby, Winston, who needs eye surgery after a hit-and-run accident that changed their life in April 2025.

<div>Winston is a sweet, lovable pug whose life changed in an instant after a hit-and-run accident that left him with an eye injury. Due to significant trauma, he has lost some vision, his eye has shrunk, and the third eyelid has rolled, leaving the duct and surrounding tissue exposed and inflamed. The inflammation puts him at risk for pain and further complications. He has been so brave throughout his recovery, which has included multiple follow-up appointments with a general veterinarian and an eye specialist. Now, Winston needs an enucleation, a specialized eye procedure that will remove the damaged eye, place an implant to maintain his facial structure, and ensure a safe recovery with anesthesia and post-op medication. The cost for this treatment is $3,000.

<div>I’m Jesse, and for the last two years, I’ve been on a journey to reclaim my health, happiness, and a body that doesn’t scream after walking up a flight of stairs. Through a ton of sweat, determination, and support from amazing people like you, I’ve managed to lose over 240 lbs—all naturally! This journey has transformed me in ways I never thought possible, turning me from “just a fat guy trying to get fit” to someone others turn to for guidance on their own health journeys. And let me tell you, every step (and every bad dance move) has been worth it.

<div>For context, I used to weigh over 524 lbs. Honestly, I don’t even know my heaviest weight, because at one point, scales just said, “Uh, nope.” 524 was just the first number I could actually see. During that time, I was battling severe depression and anxiety, and I was tired of missing out on life and feeling like a stranger in my own body. I started focusing on my mental health, eating right, lifting weights, staying active, and keeping a realistic but relentless focus on my goal. Over time, I saw the scale go down, but more importantly, I began to find myself again.

<div>As my dedication grew, in February 2024, I started sharing my journey online for accountability and inspiration. Through the power of social media, I’ve been lucky enough to interact with thousands of incredible people. My humor helped people feel comfortable in their own skin—even the jiggly bits. I share this journey openly, with all the ups and downs, to show people that real, sustainable change isn’t just possible—it can be fun.

<div>But there’s one hurdle I can’t conquer solo: loose skin. After dropping over 240 lbs, the excess skin I’m left with doesn’t just impact my appearance—it affects my quality of life. It’s uncomfortable, sometimes painful, and makes working out (or even just hanging out) a bit of a challenge. Ultimately, the further into my journey I get, the worse the skin gets. No amount of exercise can remove it; surgery is the only answer.

<div>This might be the hardest thing I've ever had to post on social media. And I post myself dancing half naked without batting an eye. I struggle with asking for help. But.. I need it.

<div>Skin removal surgery is, unfortunately, super expensive, and saving for it myself in this economy would take well over a decade. Every dollar raised will go directly toward covering the surgery, follow-up care, and recovery costs so I can truly feel the weight lifted.
