How quickly everything can change. When I updated last, everything was a go and we were ready to move in for transplant. Patrick had been having a really strange rash for sometime. After multiple dermatologist visits, they ultimately took biopsies that they sent to Mayo. Mayo determined that the rash was skin lymphoma. His oncologist sent him back into chemotherapy. He recently had. PET scan as well as a Bone Marrow Biopsy and it was determined that he is now in full remission and we can move forward with the transplant. Today we received our admit date of November 6. Most of his testing was able to be carried over so his oncologist is wanting to get him admitted ASAP so there is no chance of recurrence. Please continue to lift our family up during this time and pray that the side effects will be minimal with no complications for Patrick.
