<div>In Loving Memory of Jordan Shine Joines — Supporting His Wife Aaliyah and Family
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>On October 12, 2026, our world was shattered by the sudden and tragic loss of Jordan Shine Joines. At just 21 years old, Jordan had already made an everlasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to know and love him. His passing has left a tremendous void in the hearts of his beautiful wife, Aaliyah, his family, his friends, and all those whose lives he touched.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Jordan was a proud member of the United States Marine Corps, a devoted husband, a beloved son and brother, and the best uncle in the world. He was born on May 12, 2005, and graduated from Creekview High School in the class of 2024. It was there that he met the love of his life, Aaliyah. Straight out of high school, Jordan enlisted in the Marine Corps, with Aaliyah faithfully by his side as he began this next chapter of his life.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Jordan had a personality that was impossible to forget. He had the best sense of humor and a gift for lighting up any room he walked into. No matter what kind of day someone was having, Jordan could find a way to make them smile or laugh. He loved deeply, gave his whole heart to the people around him, and brought a special kind of joy into the lives of those who knew him. His love for his wife and family was evident, and the memories he created with them will be cherished forever.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This loss has been absolutely devastating to everyone who loved Jordan. As his family navigates the unimaginable pain of losing him, they are also facing the unexpected financial burdens that come with such a sudden tragedy. With family members spread throughout the southern region, travel expenses, funeral and memorial costs, and other unforeseen expenses are adding to an already heartbreaking situation.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are asking for help to support Aaliyah and Jordan’s family during this incredibly difficult time. Any donation, no matter how big or small, will help ease some of the financial stress and allow the family to focus on grieving, coming together, and honoring Jordan’s life. If you are unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser and keeping the family in your thoughts and prayers would mean more than words can express.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Jordan’s life was far too short, but the love he gave, the laughter he shared, and the impact he made will live on forever. He will always be remembered as a loving husband, a proud Marine, a cherished son and brother, an incredible uncle, and a friend who could brighten anyone’s day.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Please keep Aaliyah and the entire Joines family in your prayers in the days, weeks, and months ahead as they learn to navigate life without someone so deeply loved.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Funeral and memorial service details will be announced at a later date.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your generosity, kindness, love, and prayers during this devastating time. Every donation, share, and prayer means the world to Jordan’s family.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Forever loved. Never forgotten. Always a Marine. Rest peacefully, Jordan. Semper Fi

</div>
<div>Fri May 23 Update:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I just got off the phone with my dad. Joes surgery is scheduled for 7:30AM.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>They will be cleaning out his arm and putting more medicine in it to help it not get infected. One big blessing is that his doctor is very optimistic about his hand.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We need to keep praying that it keeps doing what it’s doing. That has been one of our main concerns but the Lord keeps answering prayers and I know he’ll continue to answer our prayers.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Class of 94’ thank you so much for praying for my bother. He heard me tell dad that y’all were praying and I know that just makes him feel so loved so thank you once again❤️
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>To all the friends, family, church members and church families, we love each and every one of you and as long as we keep praying, Joe will keep healing.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Once his surgery is complete I’ll update on here once myself and other brothers get the update first.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>

</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Please support Joseph's Critical Recovery
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My big brother, Joseph, is, as I write this, in critical surgery to determine if or which arm(s) may be saved. He was in a near-fatal accident Sun May 18.
</div>
<div>Joseph has multiple broken ribs, multiple complex breaks in legs/feet, multiple complex breaks in right arm... And a severely damaged left arm.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Our mom has not left his side. And she, and so many other prayer warriors are asking God for his healing mercy.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Joseph will be in intensive care for the foreseeable future, with multiple additional major surgeries and a long on-stie rehab ahead. But he is a fighter, and there is no way he will miss watching the Georgia Bulldogs first game in a few months.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>While he fights for his life, I will need to help our parents find a way to prepare his room/bathroom to be handicap accessible.
</div>
<div>I am launching this GoFundMe to help with Joseph's medical care and in-home care over the next year, as well as help my parents, as they will be dedicating their lives to caring for Joseph.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Funds raised will be used for Sit-to-Stand Assist medical equipment, adjustable medical bed, handicap/single person shower for roll in and other handicap-outfitting necessities for home.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Joseph has always been the life of the party... Whether country line dancing, playing softball or yelling at the tv watching UGA Football or Braves Baseball.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Please help me support my big brother and help provide him motivation in this life-changing fight.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you so much... And I will certainly provide updates regularly.. and Please keep Joseph in your prayers!
</div>
<div><br />

Support Joseph's Critical Recovery Journey

<div>The Cheshire/Bailey family suffered a tremendous loss this past week when Jamie’s husband, Jason, passed away in a tragic accident. They lost a husband, father and beloved member of their community. Jamie is left to do her best to pick up the pieces and raise 3 girls under 10, and their oldest son, Micah, who is leaving for college this fall and will be playing baseball at Maryville College.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We would like to raise funds to help Jamie and the kids with emotional and financial support to lessen their burden, if just a little. Jamie has always given so very much to her community and those around her. It’s time we give back in their time of need.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Any donations will go directly to Jamie to use for funeral expenses and for the needs of their families. Also, please pray for their family as they try to navigate life without their husband and dad. All help is greatly appreciated.

Support Jamie's Family in Their Time of Loss

<div>My name is Kim Eidson and I met Jessica and her family three years ago when I began teaching at Ball Ground Stem Academy. We were team teachers for three years before I retired. Jessica is one of the best people and teachers that I have ever met. She has given so much of herself to others, I wanted to give friends, family and our community a chance to show her that same love and support.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>On April 12th, after several doctor's visits and biopsies, she got the call that no family ever wants to hear. You have cancer. She was diagnosed with breast cancer that was classified as stage 2 invasive lobular carcinoma. No family history and no genetics. In the words of her doctor, "You are going to be okay, but we have a lot of work to do. This is a sneaky cancer, so we have to be smarter than it is."

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>That began her journey of discovery through test after test to determine where the cancer was and how to treat it. After the MRI, it turned out that the tumor was far larger than the ultrasound revealed, so being aggressive was the key. The treatment plan began on May 8th with four rounds of the meanest chemo there is out there. It has been nicknamed "the red devil." On July 3rd, the next phase began with weekly chemotherapy for 12 weeks.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>After chemo, a double mastectomy will take place at the end of October followed by reconstruction several months later. Once the mastectomy is complete, they will determine if more chemo or radiation is needed. Endocrine therapy will start after surgery either way for roughly five years.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>While Jessica does have insurance, the out of pocket costs have already exceeded $5000 with more to come with surgery, imaging, endocrine therapy, potential radiation, etc. spilling into the upcoming years. As working adults, we all know that there is no such thing as unlimited paid time off. Sick days will be used wisely, but they will run out.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>In the meantime, Jessica is still trying to b e a supportive mom to all of her children and make memories with her family before returning to the classroom this year.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Any donation given will go to pay for outstanding medical bills. If those are paid through your generosity, the remaining funds will be used for further medical expenses as they arise.
</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Thank you for reading her story! Let's show her how much she is loved!
