Dear Friends, and Family,

He has left behind his Wife, 6 children, nieces, nephews and forever cherished friends. <br /> <br />Mr. Wondu was at his regular job when an unforeseen heart attack led to his untimely passing. His sudden departure has left an irreplaceable void in our lives.

Funeral and Memorial Service for Tekie Wondu

<div>Hello, my name is Hanibal Ghile. I am the nephew of Meharena Ghebreyesus. Please read the below message from Meharena’s sisters (my mother and aunts):
</div>

<div><br />Last October, our beloved brother, uncle and father, Meharena Ghebreyesus, went missing.
</div>

<div>
</div>

<div>After being reported missing, his car was found in a remote area 15 minutes north of Smoky Lake, AB. While RCMP had searched the area where his vehicle was recovered, our family had spoken with everyone he had contacted within the last few days since he was last seen, put up over a hundred missing signs in the surrounding area, and had been in constant communication with EPS/RCMP and cooperating with search authorities.
</div>

<div>
</div>

<div>After winter had arrived and brought snow cover, we had to wait until the snow melted and conditions were safe enough to have a search party to look for him. On June 27th, we had a large search party searching for him, but we unfortunately did not find anything.
</div>

<div>
</div>

<div>On June 30th, we got a call that he was found nearby in an area that was not in the search perimeter. After missing for over nine months, our family finally got confirmation that we had lost our loved one. We are devastated by Meharena’s passing, and all the hope we had that he was still alive is gone.
</div>

<div>
</div>

<div>We are asking for donations to help cover the cost of Meharena’s funeral. Any leftover excess funds will be going towards his children. Any amount you can donate will be greatly appreciated and truly help our family during this difficult time.
</div>

<div>
</div>

<div>Thank you so much for your generosity. Funeral details to follow.
</div>

<div>
</div>

<div>God bless.
</div>

<div><br />Tirhas, Alganesh and Tsegereda Gebremeskel<br /><br />NOTE - Hanibal Ghile will be collecting the donations on behalf of his family to be put towards funeral services with excess funds to be given to Meharena's children.

In loving memory of Meharena Ghebreyesus

<div>Eyob joined our father in heaven and passed away peacefully on the evening of June 23, 2022.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>To start, thank you to everyone who previously donated towards his care. Those funds helped immensely ease the financial burden, and allowed Eyob's care to be as good as it could be in his last few months.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This GoFundMe is set up to help with funeral costs so that we can send our beloved Eyob away from this earth with the beautiful goodbye he deserves.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you in advance to everyone for your generosity.
</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>Funeral details to follow.

<div>Kirstie passed away suddenly and unexpected on December 9th, 2021.  She is the daughter of Sandra Melnyk and Tariku Abebe Woldemichael. <br /><br />We, her family, are trying to raise some money to go towards addition funeral and service costs. Included in these costs will be a headstone. We appreciate all and any help during this difficult and trying time. We also appreciate all of the kind words we have received so far.

Memorial Costs for Kirstie Melnyk

Go Fund Me <br /><br />The year was 2009 when I met Lilibeth Trinidad. Originally an RN from the Philippines, Lilibeth came to Canada as an overseas foreign worker and got a job at Extendicare Seniors Home as an LPN. <br /><br />Over the next year, Lilibeth’s new life in Canada was all about preparing for her family’s arrival. This meant budgeting the money she was earning so she can send money to the Philippines all while paying for her own expenses in Canada. This also meant furnishing her house with things bought from second hand stores or things found given away for free or left in the alley. <br /><br />After over a year of waiting, Lilibeth’s husband Jack and their 2 sons joined her in Canada. It wasn’t an easy transition and naturally it came with its own ups and downs and Jack eventually found work at Extendicare working in the materials warehouse. <br /><br />In 2015, Jack and Lilibeth were blessed with their third son &amp; with their family complete, the Trinidads were happy and content. <br /><br />It would be short lived when misfortune hit in May of 2016 when Lilibeth tragically and suddenly passed away leaving Jack to care for 3 sons with the youngest barely able to walk. Life without his wife and partner was something Jack would never get used to but instead something he needed to adapt to for his sake and, more importantly,for the well being of his sons. <br /><br />The next 5 years would prove challenging running a household as a single father but it would also prove Jack’s perseverance and tenacity to provide a better life for his kids. But as misfortune would have it, an unfortunate accident would devastate Jack’s life once more. This time it was Jack that would be involved in a life altering accident at home that would leave him paralyzed. <br /><br />Under the guidance and advise of his doctor, Jack is being transferred to a long term care facility where he will be better provided with care that he will now need for his daily living. <br />Living as a paraplegic will not only hinder Jack from providing for his sons but also cause him to miss out on everyday life as a family. <br /><br />This is where we are asking for help to aid in the everyday expenses of Jack’s sons and to supplement any other expenses that may incur during this strenuous time of transition for the Trinidad family. <br /><br />From the bottom of the Trinidad family, thank you for your support during this difficult season.

Jack and boys

On Thursday, May 14, 2020 we lost a king. Aaron Tewolde was an amazing son, brother, cousin, uncle, and friend. He had just celebrated his golden birthday— turning 26 on April 26, 2020. Not only was he our only brother, but he was our mom and dad’s one and ONLY son and the baby boy of the family!<br /><br />Aaron’s personality was contagious! He loved to make people laugh and always kept a smile on his face. He knew how to make someone’s day by simply telling a joke to make you smile! He loved and adored his family and friends, not to mention he was the best uncle ever to his niece Ziahda. Family meant everything to Aaron! <br /><br />If you ever got the chance to get to know Aaron, you knew that he was the sweetest, most genuine, kind hearted soul on this planet! He just wanted to love hard and be loved!<br /><br />Unfortunately, during these hard times, and with the COVID-19 pandemic going on, it’s nearly impossible to come together and raise money with our communities like we normally would. We started this go fund me page to be able to raise as much money as we can to ensure our brother is sent off to heaven peacefully. <br /><br />Our goal is to raise money for the funeral, burial services, and everything in preparation leading up to that. We just want our baby boy, Aaron Tewolde, to finally be at peace and rest easy like he deserves!<br /><br />Thank you so much for taking the time to help out our family and support us during this tragic time. No mother should have to bury their only son! We ask for your prayers and well wishes during this trying time.
