Hi, I’m Stephanie Berdon & I’m doing this GoFundMe for my sister, Noreen Labrador-Berdon. She has breast cancer, she’s doing her treatments in St. Louis & staying with her daughter, Shannon Bach. Here in Reno, she’s about to lose her apartment. If we can’t save her apartment, she’ll need to get into a house when her treatments are finished, around August. She’s my oldest sister & she took care of me most of my life & when I got really sick. It’s my duty to help her now.

My sister is currently facing one of the toughest battles of her life. She is in St. Louis, undergoing treatment for breast cancer and dementia. The journey has been long and difficult, and her treatments are expected to continue until at least August, or until her doctors clear her. While she is away focusing on her health, another challenge has come up—she has been locked out of her apartment in Reno, NV, and is at risk of losing her home. The stress of fighting cancer and dementia is already overwhelming, and now the fear of not having a place to return to is weighing heavily on her. The funds raised here will go directly toward paying off her late charges, court fees, and back rent balance. If it turns out she cannot keep her apartment, your support will help her find a new place to live and start fresh.
