Hello family and friends,

Our beloved Veronica is currently facing a challenging time. After being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in August 2025, she endured a grueling 10-hour surgery and 6 months of chemotherapy. Unfortunately, the cancer has metastasized to her liver, and Veronica has recently been diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. This has brought many daily financial challenges and burdens to her family. Although Veronica remains hopeful, she needs our help to focus on her health and well-being during this critical period. Your support can make a big difference in her journey. Thank you for considering a donation for the Ramos Family. It is truly appreciated. Spanish translation below:

Hola, familia y amigos:

Hi everyone! My name is Vanessa. My parents' home caught on fire today, and unfortunately, they have lost almost everything in the house. They are safe, but their belongings are gone, and unfortunately, they won't be able to stay in the home for a while. My parents don't work as they are both disabled. I am creating this GoFundMe to help my parents recover from this loss. Thank you for reading.

Luis Albert Ortega known to the nightlife and entertainment industry as "Pretty Lou" the hottest host in NYC is now relying on his fans and supports to help him and his family during the most vulnerable time in his life. After overcoming his recent battle with LGL Leukemia, he is now diagnosed with MDS Cancer, and faces another bout with cancer of the bone marrow.

With God's grace still favoring Lou, he has already found a bone marrow match and will now undergo his rigorous transplant surgery at New York Presbyterian Hospital in NYC. After the surgery is completed, he will receive another treatment of chemotherapy that his body had recently experienced. Due to his overwhelming medical costs and his inability to work during this treatment and recovery process, we the family and his wife are asking his friends, supporters, entertainment professionals and compassionate donors to step in and contribute to help Lou through his health crisis.

Lou has decided to continue documenting his process so that the public can understand the obstacles associated with cancer treatment and recovery. His estimated recovery time is 8 months to 1 year before Lou would be at full capacity. We ask that you continue to pray for Lou and his family during this difficult time and thank you for your generosity and support.

It is with great sadness that we must report that Daniel “Anthony” Rodriguez has unexpectedly passed away on Sunday December 17th 2023.

As some of you may remember we came to you almost 7 years ago asking for help to uplift & support his family in their time of need when Anthony was first admitted to the hospital. He was able to have the valve replacements and the permanent pacemaker was put in that was needed at that time.

Since then, he has been a devoted partner, father, son, brother, cousin, nephew and friend to all he who held dear. It was an uphill battle but one he was determined to win. He continued to fight like the warrior he was every day to stay on this earth and be there for his family. He volunteered with the hospital that helped him regain his strength to advocate for other cardiac patients who couldn’t find their own voice. He continued his work in the neighborhood to uplift the community through murals and words of encouragement.

He spent his last day going to church with his family and then taking holiday photos (some of which we are sharing with you) – a memory his family will be able to cherish forever.

Due to his heart condition life insurance was not available to him. In this difficult time, the family is in need of financial assistance to cover the costs of the funeral as well as the children’s school tuition. We are reaching out to the community for help in covering these costs.

We hope to help Priscilla, Nyla, Nasir and Noralie in any way possible in the months and years to come.

Support for Priscilla will go directly to her to ease the financial burden she faces now as she raises their 3 beautiful children. No donation is too small. We hope that with your generosity, the family can use this toward funeral expenses, and anything needed for the children over the coming months and their education in the future.

English

My name is Cristina, Daniela's mother. Greetings and blessings to all who read my daughter's story. On Friday night March 10, 2023, our fight against a brain tumor began when my daughter tested positive for cancer. The brain cancer my daughter has is Diffuse Midline Glioma. The grade she is at, grade 4, makes it a very aggressive cancer because the cells grow and spread rapidly. My daughter's symptoms were headaches and vomiting. Due to her symptoms, my daughter immediately underwent brain surgery to relieve headaches and vomiting caused by this tumor.

Hearing that your child has cancer is the most devastating news a parent can hear. We never imagined that this would happen to our little girl because she was a completely healthy girl. She never suffered from any disease before. We thought this would be a virus or infection, but not an aggressive brain cancer. Doctors say Daniela must undergo proton therapy without expectations of positive results. On the contrary, it has many short- and long-term side effects. Proton therapy is a type of radiation used to treat tumors. But despite this, we are looking for more alternatives I have researched but are not covered by health insurance. The options are mostly in other states and countries. After everything my daughter has gone through, we have more reasons to be with her 24/7, to love her, and to take care of her. Our daughter is a happy girl when we are all together as a family, and that way we help her fight this deadly disease.

Daniela is unaware of this disease. She knows she had surgery to relieve her headaches and tests are being done to prevent them. As her parents, we are heartbroken for her. We don't want her to suffer. I am sure that no parent is prepared to lose their children or see them suffer. We always want the best for them. This has not weakened us as a family, on the contrary, it has united us a lot for which I thank God. These are difficult life tests but we are not alone. God is with us on this painful path but we will remain strong for Daniela. Anything we can do to help her and surround her with love is the most important thing so that she can beat this brain cancer. Some medical expenses are not covered and with daily living expenses, money is necessary and any donation will be truly appreciated.

On behalf of Daniela, we appreciate your support, not only financially but also spiritually. Creed or religion does not matter. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Please share this story. God is one, "he is love, especially for children".

Dear friends and family,

It is heartbreaking to even begin to write this message to you all about our dear Jen. Never in a million years did we think we would ever have to do this.

After a long battle with an autoimmune disease (Disconnective Tissue Disorder) and being recently diagnosed with stage four lung cancer — with no prior history of smoking — our dear Jen and her family need your support.

Jen started to experience painful chest pain in late September and was hospitalized in October and has been in the hospital since. A liquid was filling up her lungs, and this needed to be secreted for her to feel less pain. The doctors held her until they figured out why this was happening. In early December, Jen was diagnosed with stage four lung cancer and began chemo treatment shortly after. She had her up and down days, but all days in good spirits. It seemed that the chemo started to work quickly. We were all feeling very positive. We were just on Twitch a little over a week ago, jamming to Marcos' DJ session!

The next day, Jen was rushed to the intensive care unit and put on a breathing machine due to an infection. She was stable for a couple of days, but recently took a turn for the worse.

Jen is currently still on the breathing machine as she is not able to breathe without it and often needs to be sedated as any spike in heart rate puts her at risk. Her doctors are still trying to figure out the best possible next step, but this means an extended stay in the hospital. We are asking for your help to assist her family cover medical expenses and any other miscellaneous costs due to this situation.

Please know that anything helps and we appreciate you taking the time to read this. Even if you aren't able to give, we ask that you share this in a way that you are comfortable with and if you are not able to do that, please, please pray for our girl.

Jen is a true fighter and we are praying that she pulls through!

As per the request of Jenifer's mother, Josefa Rodriguez, Jenifer's aunt, Felipa Colan, will be managing funds raised to cover funeral costs and medical bills.

Thank you for your support!

Life of the party, DJ Blaze, needs our help. As a two time cancer survivor from a very young age, he is currently fighting one of his biggest health battles yet.

Having just one kidney, and functioning at 30%, Blaze has recently contracted a serious infection. With a goal of $60k, he needs our help now to find a kidney match and donor more than ever.

His presence means so much to so many people. DJ Blaze brings incredible energy to everyone who knows or meets him, in any environment, whether in conversation or on the turntables.

The average kidney transplant surgery ranges anywhere from $160k- $300k with little to no insurance, not including out-of-hospital bills.

Your donation will help:

- cover partial medical costs for the kidney transplant surgery

- cover partial day to day wages lost while not being able to work during recovery

If you or someone you know is blood type O and wants to get tested as a kidney match/ donor for Blaze, please click below to request the direct number to call the Zweig Family Center for Living Donation Recanati/Miller Transplantation Institute, on behalf of Junot Martinez.

Every bit helps.
————————-

Blaze’s Story:

At the young age of 11 I was diagnosed with Ewing Circoma Cancer, six months of Chemotherapy followed by six months of Radiation. The Radiation Treatment I received early on caused permanent damage to both kidneys and has had lasting effects on my health as an adult.

After living almost worry free for 15 years, I was diagnosed with Cancer for the second time at the age of 30. Even though I had to deal with this horrible deadly disease again I remained grateful. The stress of the second cancer diagnosis put a toll on my body which caused the loss of my right kidney. Now, I’m facing a new health challenge in my life.

I’m suffering from Chronic Kidney Disease and my remaining Left Kidney is functioning at only 30%. During a 3 week stay in the hospital September 2020, I was forced to face many hard truths about my well-being. Dialysis will be an option in the near future, but in order to continue living a healthy life, I am in need of a new kidney.

After many doctor’s appointments over the last few months, I was informed that I am healthy enough to receive a Kidney transplant and have been placed on the Organ Donor List. While this news was amazing to hear, I was quickly reminded that the wait time for me to find a match could take upwards of 10 years.

Unfortunately, tomorrow is not promised to any of us and after speaking with a dear friend, I was encouraged to create this page. Any size donation will be greatly appreciated to cover partial medical expenses. Thank you!

- Junot Martinez aka Joey Blaze

Have you ever met someone that leaves an everlasting impression on you? That’s our lovely friend Carmen! She is known as the bright, funny and most jovial person, colleague, and friend that anyone could ever meet. The coronavirus pandemic has affected a lot of lives in so many ways. I am here asking for your support for my brother Miguel aka DJ 3-Sixty and his family. As some of you may have known, he was very ill with the virus but with GOD's blessing he is slowly recovering.

As a full-time DJ, his money completely stopped with the inability to receive unemployment benefits. Meaning he has no money for rent, food, pampers, utilities or anything. I am asking for help. Any little bit will go a long way.

Thank you for your support in advance and God Bless. Please be safe and well.

This GoFund me page was created on behalf of the Santiago Family.
Rudy, better known to most as Dj 1st Class left so many loved ones in disbelief and in great sadness. Not only was he loved for his humorous and loving personality, but he is admired for his great talent and Deejaying Skills! Dj 1st Class has been rocking the clubs for over 25 years blessing all of us with his great music, party vibes & energy. His goal was to see everyone always having a good time! He is the C.E.O of Clubkillas Dj Crew as well as a member of Latin Connection DJs.

On Sunday, March 3rd while out on vacation in Florida, Class suddenly suffered a massive stroke. He was rushed to the hospital for help. No one ever imagined that he would not return back to us, his family, his children, his girlfriend or his friends. Today, March 5th, our beloved Class took his last breath.

This sad news hurts us even more knowing that he left behind his children that he loved so much, one who just recently suffered a serious attack in February that left her paralyzed. Class was focused on getting her the right medical treatment she needs and the family even started a gofund me page to help her. So as you can imagine, the family is suffering emotionally and mentally over this loss. We started this Go fund Me page to help bring Class back home where he belongs and help his parents with the funeral arrangements. All proceeds of your donation will go towards the expenses of transporting Class back home to NY and a Funeral so that we can say bye to him one last time. No donation is too small or too big. Any amount will help bring a little less stress to his grieving family and children.

Until we meet again Class.... and with tears in our eyes we say as you used to always say "Do you fly 1st Class" ? You are going to be terribly miss brother.

Ed "Swift" Bautista has a very steep hill to climb. I do not know the medical terminology of what he has been diagnosed with, but he urgently needs surgery on his right eye.

The point here is he's potentially losing sight - permanently. In the end of it all, surgery and everything that comes along with it bears a cost that many cannot simply cover.

This is our chance to help someone and see first hand where your donation has gone. This is my question to you: Will you help our family/friend by donating?

a father, a boyfriend, a son, a brother, and the greatest friend you could ever ask for. Joesph has touched many lives and basically every persons life that he encountered with. What happened to him was such a tragedy but we must come together and remember the good times because thats what he would have wanted. This gofundme page was made to ask for some help, and any amount donated is extremely helpful. Thank you in advance.

Early on the morning of December 19, 2016 our friend and beloved DJ Jinx Paul was struck by a speeding vehicle in a hit & run in Brooklyn, NY.
Unfortunately the car that hit him drove away from the scene and Jinx died from his injuries at the age of 39.
Those that had the pleasure to know him or of him know how full of life Paul was and how he always had a smile. "El Show Completo" Jinx Paul was heard by countless people everyday on NY's La Mega 97.9FM doing what he loved most and in numerous clubs throughout the country.
Please help us in raising money for the funeral arrangements and for the family of Jean Guerrero, best known to us all as Jinx Paul. He was a son, a brother, a friend, and a voice to a soundtrack we will never forget. Most of all he was one of the most humblest, hard working, and loving human beings ever.
This is a tragic event and as painful as it is to all of us, he leaves behind a grieving family that could use all of our help.
Let's support our Brother one more time and show our loving regards.
Thank you in advance, any amount is ok.
God Bless you Jinx! We Love You

From his parents Gloria and Humberto, his son little J.P. and the entire Bent Parties family.

First and foremost I'd like to thank Everyone who has donated, shared and bought this campaign to the light.

So here's the update. Police are still looking for the driver and have a possible vehicle found. Please don't forget to keep spreading the word and let's make sure this person is turned over to the authorities.

Paul's parents, his mother and father, are arriving from their native Ecuador tonight in NY.
La Mega 97.9 FM has since today, Tuesday Dec 20th, pledged to cover funeral and wake arrangements.

Update:

The Go Fund Me account was created to help with that cost of said funeral and for Jinx Paul's 6 year old son, who is now without a father. God bless Jean Paul Guerrero. Jinx Paul loved him with all his heart and was a great dad. We pledge to give 100% of the proceeds to his son and Paul's mother.
My name is Eric Morel and myself and Chris Castro (both of us started the Go Fund Me) have known Paul for a very long time. We are both from New York and have known Paul for numerous years. The three of us started a promotion company Bent Parties when Jinx first started his DJ career. He is a brother, a son and a Great father who will be remembered as the most humble person you'd ever know.

Please spread the word of the Go Fund me and their is no necessary goal, all the money is available even if said goal is not reached. This is not a Kickstarter. No we do not need to reach the goal of $50,000 for him to get the money. That is false. Secondly, there is a child involved here who will need as many blessings as we can give him.
Lastly, I mean this with all due respect, if you feel it is still questionable at this point to donate to this fund, simply do not. No love lost. However if you'd like to discuss this any further and get some more clarity just email me as many have done today and I will provide that.

These are frustrating times when people are questioning the integrity of this Fund. If any part of it was misinformed it is only because of how quick it was created to generate as much income for the family as possible.

We have spoken to the mother of Paul's son, his uncle here in NY and they were on board with this as well. We intend to get the funds to them as soon as they ask for it and need it. Every last cent is for a good cause and we thank everyone who has contributed.
All we are trying to do is provide for our brother who is no longer with us. We share your pain and concern.

Lastly there is a Candlelight Vigil tonight at 7pm in Brooklyn. 43 Jamaica Avenue.

We Love you Jinx!

Thank you,
Eric Morel and Chris Castro
#RIPJINX

Jinx Paul's Family Fund

My name is Elizabeth Quiñones. My daughter, Jessica Fuentes, had an untimely death. She was taken from us too soon. I am trying to raise funds to be able to fly her from Miami to New York, as well as pay all of the funeral expenses. A mother is never ready to bury her child. Please help with whatever you can so that our family may have closure. We will forever be grateful for your contribution. May God bless you and multiply your generosity! Thank you!.
