<div>I am currently seven months pregnant, and yesterday my husband was picked up by ICE as he was on his way to work. This has turned my world upside down. He was our only source of income, and now I am left to care for our two boys, ages three and twelve, while preparing for the arrival of our baby boy. We had just started buying things for the baby, but we still need essentials like a stroller, car seat, and basic items. On top of that, I need help with rent, groceries, and lawyer fees to support my husband and keep our family together.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>For GoFundMe's transparency rules: The money raised is put straight into my mother-in-law's bank account since I don't have my own bank account; after that, she withdraws and gives it to me for household expenses.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I don’t have any other family nearby, and I don’t work, so this situation is affecting us deeply. Every day feels overwhelming, but I am determined to do everything I can for my children and my husband. Your support would mean the world to us, whether it’s helping with baby items, rent, groceries, or legal fees. I am grateful for any help you can offer, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for standing with us during this difficult time.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you are able to help, please know that your kindness will make a real difference for our family. Thank you so much for your support.

Help Sarah’s Family During Crisis

<div>Please Support Mother after her Son Was Kidnapped by ICE
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>On Wednesday July 22nd Ronny was dragged into ICE vehicles outside his home in Glendale, CA while his mother watched and cried in agony.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Ronny is 19 years old and the primary breadwinner for his family. Ronny’s mom and little brother urgently need our help. The family is in urgent need of funds for rent to maintain a safe place to live.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Ronny’s mom has been unable to consistently work for a couple of years following a major accident when she was hit by a car. Her recovery was long and difficult, and Ronny was there by her side through multiple surgeries and at one point a coma. The accident left her unable to consistently work and therefore without health insurance. Ronny was the one who stepped up and took care of his family.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Now it’s our turn to help keep Ronny’s mom and brother supported. Beyond this urgent need, Ronny’s family will need funds for his attorney so that they can stop his deportation and reunite him with his family.
</div>

Urgent: Please Support Mother after Son Was Kidnapped by ICE

<div>Hi, my name is Larry Ziegelman, and I'm an award-winning, Chicago filmmaker and director, and co-writer on "Grave Expectations". I've been making films for the last 18 years: <a href="https://larryz.com/director" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">my reel</a> . Back in 2020, my former college roommate (class of '92) Jason Silberberg, wrote a short story entitled, "The Unrequited" and shared it with me. I immediately thought this needed to be written into a screenplay, and since it was the middle of the covid pandemic, we had the time to write it.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>For the next three years, we shared it with friends, wrote iteration after iteration and started entering it into competitions. 15 iterations and 10 festival laurels later, we finally decided this script needed to be made. It's clear that the story resonates with industry judges and we feel strongly that the film will most definitely as well.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Question: What would you do if your childhood bully just up and died? </strong>
</div>
<div>Here's how Jason answered that question...
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>The idea:</strong> Jacob has kept his childhood trauma of being bullied from his wife, Shira, for as long as they’ve been together. That is until tonight—their 10th anniversary. That’s because his childhood bully, John Markbreit, has “out-of-the-blue, dropped dead”. So tonight, Jacob has “gifted” a surprise nighttime trip through the cemetery, as well as his willingness to share his childhood memories to his wife. This adventure becomes an opportunity for bonding, catharsis and well…childish revenge.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We have recently shot for two amazing days with funds from both myself and Jason, but those monies are now spent. We have yet to shoot in a cemetery and need the money to shoot the final day and finish the post-production. The "post" includes music, color, sound and finally, entering film festivals.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We have cast some really amazing, talented and funny actors for the roles, and hired an incredible crew to make the film just look beautiful. Please help us cross the finish line and make this film a reality!

<div><strong>Our Undying Thanks!</strong>
</div>
<div>All donors will be thanked at the end credits of the film. And if there are some people that have deep-pockets and want to donate $1000 or more, you will be listed at an Associate Producer in the credits as well as on IMDB.com.

<div>Hello,
</div>
<div>My name is Leslie, and I am trying to raise money for my father.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Yesterday, on April 21st at 5 a.m., my father was leaving for work, and he saw two guys wearing hoodies stealing his catalytic converter. My father, if you know him-- is the type of person who always stands up to people or helps out the little guy.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>He<span style="letter-spacing:0.0085px;"> was attacked and knocked out by the two assailants who took his catalytic converter. </span><span style="letter-spacing:0.0085px;">They drove off in their white car and left him in the street lying in a pool of his own blood. Luckily, he was found by a neighbor who was walking their dog. If not, who knows how long he would have been on the street. The police were called, and he was taken to the hospital.</span>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>He is currently in the ICU with a fracture in his skull and eye socket. We are not sure for how long he will be there for. Luckily, his condition is getting better, and he seems to be in good spirits.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Anything that you are able to help with will be greatly appreciate. If you are unable to donate, then please feel free to share the link.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>UPDATE:
</div>
<div>T<span style="letter-spacing:0.0085px;">he funds will be used </span><span style="letter-spacing:0.0085px;">to pay for his copayment medical bill, repairing the car, replacing his phone. He will also be staying at a board and care facility for a month, so he can receive physical therapy. Lastly, any lost wages from work since he will not be able to work for who knows how long.</span>

<div><strong>UPDATE: 3/27/2023: </strong>We wanted everyone to know that we've JUST launched another fundraiser for the victims and survivors of the shooting at the Covenant school in Nashville, TN where three adults and three 9 year-old children were murdered.

<div><br />
</div>
<div>Every share and donation makes a difference. Thank you so much for helping.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>UPDATE Sept. 26, 2022: </strong>Thank you to everyone who contributed to this GoFundMe for the Uvalde, TX school shooting victims and survivors. We so appreciate your compassion and kindness. Donations came from corporations, from students and teachers across the country, and from caring individuals.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are now closing the GoFundMe.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We have collected $7,586,258.62 (to date) from both online and offline donations and we are transferring the full amount, every penny collected, to the National Compassion Fund which is administering the Uvalde Together We Rise Fund. 100% -- every penny -- of what we collected will go Directly to the victims.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We have also been helping victims’ families of the deceased, those wounded, injured and those who survived both in the line of fire and present with direct, financial aid. We have also helped those victims/survivors with other needed resources.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We have and will continue to help those who were directly impacted by the mass shooting in Uvalde as our General Victims’ Fund allows.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you for donating, and please always ask questions to make sure that 100% of every dollar you donate goes Directly to victims. You can rest assured that VictimsFirst always will. We put VictimsFirst. Always.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you have donations that have yet to be donated, you can send to us via Zelle at <a href="https://victimsfirst.org" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">[email redacted]</a> or by check at: 4195 Chino Hills Parkway #593 Chino Hills, CA 91709 (Please designate your donation). We will be accepting Donations only until Oct. 10th.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><a href="https://nationalcompassion.org/fund/uvalde/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">The National Compassion Fund</a> closes for donations on Oct. 20.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>From our mass shooting families who comprise VictimsFirst, a big thank you for all of your generosity. We hope and pray, each time, that we will never have to start another victims' fund again.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>UPDATE, Sept. 3, 2022: </strong>We still expect some more offline donations to come in the next couple of weeks, but we wanted to share some news: Today, we officially collected over $7.5M (including interest accrued) -- specifically, $7,500,322.33 -- for the victims of Uvalde. 100%, every penny will go directly to the victims.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are grateful to everyone who donated. This is the kind of financial help many of us never received after mass shootings when generous Americans gave, thinking 100% of their donation was going directly to us. It rarely did, and in some states, it is STILL not happening as donations are held back from families, diverted to other causes and nonprofits, and/or co-mingled with community funds.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We will continue to advocate for mass shooting victims and the establishment of a centralized fund where every penny collected goes Directly to victims as donors intend and victims/survivors need.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you, all.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>UPDATE August 18, 2022: </strong>We just wanted to give you an update. Thank you to everyone who donated. You are all angels.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We have now collected a total of $7,254,041.52 from this GoFundMe and offline donations. We are expecting a few more offline donations as well.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We will stop collecting on GoFundMe after August 31 and transfer whatever amount we have into the National Compassion Fund for the Uvalde Together We Rise Fund. We will also give everyone a final update on what that amount will be.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The Final Protocol for the Uvalde Together We Rise Fund is expected to be published on the <a href="https://www.nationalcompassionfund.org" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">www.nationalcompassionfund.org</a> website tomorrow, August 19.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We thank everyone who has donated. Your generosity has been incredible. Every penny of what we have collected and may continue to collect for the Uvalde Fund will go directly to the centralized fund for victims.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>VictimsFirst will continue to provide resources and financial assistance to Uvalde families from our General Victims Fund, which is separate and apart from our Uvalde Victims Fund.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>After this GoFundMe collection stops for the Uvalde Victims Fund, we will continue to provide updates on our website: <a href="https://www.victimsfirst.org" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">www.victimsfirst.org.</a>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>UPDATE:</strong> Thank you all for your generous donations. We have now collected a total of 7,016,258.20 from GoFundMe and offline donations. Every penny of what we've collected will go directly to victims.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>As families of previous mass shootings who have been re-victimized when nonprofits say they are collecting donations for victims but do not actually give donations directly to victims, our philosophy is very different. We believe in full transparency, honoring donor intent and providing the victims the opportunity to choose for themselves how to spend your generous financial gifts meant for them. We will update you again when we close this GoFundMe and grant the total amount to the National Compassion Fund for direct-to-victim distribution.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Our hearts are breaking for the victims and survivors of the mass shooting at the Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, TX where two adults and 19 children were murdered and many others wounded, some critically.
</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>We, VictimsFirst (a network of families of the deceased and survivors from over two decades of previous mass shootings) have started this fund to make sure that 100% of what is collected goes DIRECTLY to the victim base so the victims’ families and those wounded/injured are protected from fraud and exploitation. You can read more about what we do and who we are at <a href="https://www.victimsfirst.org" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">www.victimsfirst.org.</a>
</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>We do this because our own families have been re-victimized in the past by non-profits that collect funds for themselves after a mass shooting saying they will “support” the families, which is usually the legal verbiage used when donations do not go directly to victims/survivors themselves.
</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>We vowed this would never happen again, so families of the deceased from Columbine, VaTech, Northern Illinois University, the Aurora theater shooting, the Oak Creek Sikh Temple shooting, and Newtown (Sandy Hook Elementary School) joined together to help establish the National Compassion Fund with the National Center of Victims of Crime. Since then, families from across the nation from other mass shootings including Tucson, Vegas, Alturas, Santa Barbara (Isla Vista), Roseburg, and Orlando Pulse, Boulder and others have endorsed the National Compassion Fund.
</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>We hope The National Compassion Fund will be brought in to handle these funds in Uvalde for the sake of those directly impacted.
</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>The funds collected will go to the families in cash payments with no strings attached, thereby fulfilling the full intent of the donors (you).
</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>Depending on how the City of Uvalde decides to proceed, we will either join forces with them, with the National Compassion Fund, or distribute directly ourselves as long as your generous financial gifts go Directly to the victim base.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>

</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Nuestros corazones están rotos por las víctimas y sobrevivientes del tiroteo masivo en la escuela primaria Robb en Uvalde, TX en donde dos adultos y 19 niños fueron asesinados y muchos otros heridos, algunos de gravedad.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Nosotros esperamos que el Fondo Nacional de Compasión sea incluido para manejar los fondos en Uvalde por el bien de los que han sido directamente impactados.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Los fondos recolectados irán a las familias en pagos en efectivo sin compromisos, de este modo cumpliendo con la intención de los donantes (usted).
</div>
<div><br />
</div>

<p>Hello! My name is Sharon and me, Jackie, and Julie are here to help. In 2018, Tom was diagnosed with colon cancer and went into chemo. In Oct. of 2019, the cancer made a comeback and Tom went back into chemo treatments in Nov. of 2019. He's still getting chemo treatments.Tom has Stage IV Metastatic Colo-Rectal Cancer. This cancer is chronic and he will need to be on maintenance chemo until a cure is found.
</p>

<p>He is currently fighting a spread into his small bowels. This will last six months. At the end, his cancer will hopefully have shrunk enough to reverse his ileostomy surgery and reconnect his colon. Then, he will have six to eight weeks recovery time as his digestive system returns to normal.
</p>

<p>Tom is an artist who worked his whole life bringing joy to others with his music and editing great films. Unfortunately, these things don't allow for any help regarding health care and keeping a roof over your head in times of need. Let's give back to a beautiful man who has given so much.

<p>Hello everyone.<br />We are trying to raise awareness and show support regarding a very tragic accident that happened to one of our relatives. She is a sweet little 10 year old girl named Yester and is currently fighting for her life at USC hospital’s  Intensive Care Unit. Yester's mother, Susanna Hovakimyan is a single mother working at 2 jobs trying to support Yester and her 2 siblings. Unfortunately, Yester's biological father is not capable of supporting them so therefore you can imagine the amount of load that Susanna carries on her shoulders to support her family especially now that she has to be a full time caregiver for her daughter as she requires a lifelong support. Please consider helping this family as Yester's medical and other costs are rising tremendously.
</p>

<p><strong><u><em>Please read the following message from Officer Meghedi Badall who was one of the first responders to this tragedy.</em></u></strong>
</p>

<p>...........Hi everyone,<br /> “I'd like to ask everyone to please consider helping a family in need.<br /> <br />On Saturday (1/23), at about 3PM, several of us responded to a call of a 10 year old girl (Yester) who had fallen out of a 3rd story apartment window.  As you can all imagine, the girl was severely injured, laying in a pool of blood and struggling to breathe.  This was a horrible scene, but what made it worse was seeing the twin brother of the little girl standing there as everyone tried to help his sister.  This little boy was amazing!  Most of his family members are deaf and the little boy did all of the translating for us.  I was so proud of him for being able to keep his composure and not cry during such a difficult time.  He was somehow able to do something most of us wouldn’t have been able to do. <br /> <br />Glendale Fire transported Yester to LA County USC, where she underwent several lifesaving surgeries.  Miraculously, Yester is alive but is in seriously critical condition.  If she is somehow able to pull through, we won’t know for months the extent of her life-altering injuries.<br /> After speaking with family members, we learned the little girl had been apart from her family for two years and was recently reunited with them only 3 months ago.  Even though her mother is deaf, she washes dishes in two different restaurants to support her family.  They don't receive any sort of financial assistance from the government and now with Yester being in the hospital, her mother is staying by her side 24/7.<br /> <br />Unfortunately, Yester’s biological father is in Armenia and does not financially support the family whatsoever.  Any support we can provide to this family would be amazing.  Every dollar counts, as there are so many associated expenses to this unfortunate tragedy, and I know they would really appreciate it.  Yester's family is very supportive of law enforcement and couldn’t stop thanking us for everything we did for them that evening.<br /> <br />Please keep Yester and her family in your prayers. Please share it with as many people and organizations as you can.”<br /><br />All your prayers and donations will be grately appreciated. <br /><br /><br />Thank you and God Bless!

Supporting a  family

**************UPDATE 10/17/2020**************<br />We would like to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU for the overwhelming love, prayers, support and selfless generosity extended to our family as we deal with this traumatic situation. <br />****************************************************<br /><br />On the early morning of Tuesday October 6, 2020, our 61-year old mother, Helen Jones, was attacked by an unknown masked man who assaulted her by throwing an array of chemicals in her face.  Helen, an essential worker, was on her way to work from her Germantown area home in Philadelphia. This chemical attack has left her blind in both eyes and her face burned. Our family was not prepared for such devastation. Friends, family, neighbors, and strangers have asked how they can help after seeing Helen's story on the news - <a href="https://6abc.com/chemical-attack-woman-injured-in-face/6814017/"><a href="https://6abc.com/chemical-attack-woman-injured-in-face/6814017/" target="_blank" class="" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">https://6abc.com/chemical-attack-woman-injured-in-face/6814017/</a></a> and <a href="https://philadelphia.cbslocal.com/2020/10/14/germantown-woman-who-had-chemical-thrown-in-face-in-unprovoked-attack-is-now-blind-family-says/"><a href="https://philadelphia.cbslocal.com/2020/10/14/germantown-woman-who-had-chemical-thrown-in-face-in-unprovoked-attack-is-now-blind-family-says/" target="_blank" class="" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">https://philadelphia.cbslocal.com/2020/10/14/germantown-woman-who-had-chemical-thrown-in-face-in-unprovoked-attack-is-now-blind-family-says/</a></a> .<br /><br />In addition to lost wages, Helen now has a number of medical bills, trauma therapy needs, appointments, daily prescriptions, and disability service needs that are adding up quickly. We are establishing this fund to help us navigate the endless bills and devastation this unknown masked man has caused Helen and our family. Helen's road to recovery is just beginning and we appreciate all of you who want to help us help her.<br /><br />If you would like to donate to the family directly to avoid fees, feel free to contact us for other options. <br /><br />Our sincerest thanks for your prayers and support,<br /><br />The Family of Helen Jones

Beatrice was only 8 weeks old when we were looking to adopt an adorable kitten. We chose Bea because of her beautiful eyes, however paradoxically, were doleful. We wondered what she was trying to tell us. <img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/47695430_1588052610949745_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" alt="47695430_1588052610949745_r.jpeg" />All was fine until we noticed that she would excessively pant, which is often an indicator of difficulty breathing. Our local vet diagnosed her with a heart murmur of IV, which indicates something more serious is going on and further testing is warranted. We were than recommended to see a cardiologist for an ultrasound exam that assessed Bea's heart muscle and function. Following the exam, the cardiologist revealed very heavy-hearted news regarding Bea. He explained to us that Bea has a rare congenital heart abnormality due to a developmental defect in her heart. It is not a correctable condition and most cats with this abnormality do not live past the first year of life. She will eventually experience congestive heart failure which will lead to death. He then asked us if we’d like to euthanize her because of her grim diagnosis. We abruptly answered "no" through watering eyes and decided we were going to smother Bea with love and provide the best quality of life for her, even if it was only for less than one year. <br /><img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/47695430_1588052642682475_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" alt="47695430_1588052642682475_r.jpeg" />Since this diagnosis, we have administered daily medication in order to slow the progression of fluid in her lungs as well as cardiac dysfunction caused by her abnormal heart defect. She continues to have regular exams to reassess her heart, lungs, and kidney function. This will continue for the remainder of her life. <br /><br />Bea will turn five years old in June! She kicked the prognosis of living less than one year to the curb! We are so fortunate to be able to spend extra time with her. <br /><img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/47695430_1588052688964767_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" alt="47695430_1588052688964767_r.jpeg" />Last week, we headed to the local vet to recheck Bea since we noticed she was coughing and experiencing a disinterest in food. X-rays revealed a very enlarged heart and blood tests, kidney failure. Perhaps the beginning of congestive heart failure. We will be taking Bea to the cardiologist this week to reassess her heart, lungs, and kidney function. Emergency visits will likely follow due to the fluid in her lungs and/or potential blood clotting. The only hiccup is cost. Bea is a cherished part of our family and we will do anything and everything to help her. Attention, beloved Bea, we are not giving up on you!<br /><br />It is always difficult for me to ask for help, but especially burdensome knowing we are all facing hard times during Covid-19. However, if you can help extend Bea’s life, it would mean so much to me. Any amount of donation helps. I deeply appreciate it from the bottom of my heart. And please feel free to share/post this wherever appropriate. Thanks again so much.

Please Help Beatrice Survive Her Cardiac Disease

Our good friend Theo Manhattan has lost all of his possessions in a fire to his mobile home. Anyone who knows Theo knows that there aren't too many nicer or better people around than this guy, and he is the last person to deserve something like this to happen. Let's all pitch in and get Theo what he needs, as if this were to happen to any of us, you know he would be there to do the same. Let's get this done!

Theo Manhattan's bounce back fund

Tony and Denice Mancuso came home last week to their house consumed in flames.  Fortunately everyone was safe, but sadly their home of 40 years is a total loss!  Though insurance will eventually allow them to rebuild, they will need thousands of dollars to purchase just the essentials! Please consider donating monetarily to help them start over.
