Asking for help isnt always easy. But ive come to a crossroad where moving-in costs are astronomical with having to provide first month's rent, and security. I can maintain the month to month rent due to my overnight position as a stocker.
Help Anna Garzilli Secure a Safe Home
3% complete- My name is Anna Garzilli. Ive lived in New Jersey the whole 24 years of my life. After my grandparents house was foreclosed on I was put in a position where I no longer had help from my mom or elderly grandfather. I moved into a home with a family where I faced alot of financial, emotional, and physical abuse. I was paying $800 a month for the upstairs of a place i tried to make a home for us. That lasted around 11 months until finally I chose peace and health over a unsafe and unhealthy house that wasnt our own place to call home. We are now staying at a hotel in our town week to week with as much help from the community as we can get. Including food pantries and donations to try to help save what I make at my overnight job as a stocker. My mom helps watch the kids so I can work for time being. I am asking and starting this fundraiser to try and get us into our own apartment in Sussex county, A place we have always called home. My daughter loves her school and this town is so safe. Im trying to do everything in my power to keep us here. But unfortunately there is very limited resources as far as shelters and homelessness help goes. Thank you for reading this all.
