Fred Porter is a newly disabled neighbor who is facing a sudden and life-changing situation. After having a seizure at work, Fred learned that Fred can no longer work. Since then, life has changed in ways no one could have expected, and Fred is now on dialysis. On top of these serious health challenges, Fred is facing this chapter without immediate family by his side, as Fred’s mother, father, and sibling have all passed away. Fred is also caring for two young children, which makes this already overwhelming situation even heavier. What happened so quickly has left Fred trying to adjust to a new reality while also carrying the weight of doing it largely alone.

This fundraiser is to help Fred with the urgent costs that come with this transition. The funds will go toward repairs that need to be done to Fred’s home to make it safe and livable, as well as legal fees connected to this difficult time. These are necessary expenses, and they become even more overwhelming when someone is no longer able to work and still has children depending on them. Please help by donating if you can and by sharing Fred’s fundraiser with others. Every bit of support can make a real difference for Fred Porter and help bring some stability, safety, and relief during an incredibly hard chapter.

Help Fred Porter Stay Safe at Home

I am reaching out for your support during a difficult time. My brother, Victor Edwards, is currently in the hospital with a large inguinal hernia and vomiting blood. He urgently needs surgery and after care, but the cost is more than our family can manage.

Victor has always been a caring and hardworking person. Seeing him in pain and facing serious health risks has been heartbreaking. We have explored every option, but the expenses for surgery, hospital care, and recovery are overwhelming. The doctors have told us that without this surgery, Victor could face even more severe complications. We want to give him the best chance at a healthy recovery, but we simply cannot do it alone.

Any contribution, no matter the amount, will help Victor get the treatment and after care he needs. If you can't donate, sharing this fundraiser would mean so much. Your kindness and support during this challenging time will make a real difference for Victor and our family. Thank you for standing with us.

Tragic Loss: Help Lay London to Rest

Hi everyone, first and foremost we would like to ask for everyone’s prayers while we grieve an unexpected loss in our family. Shantece Tollefson was born on August 12th, 1995. On August 7th, 2023 our family got and unforgettable and heartbreaking call about her passing. Our family is speechless. We are still trying to process and even believe this is real. We are suppose to believe that time will heal yet as the day went by it only got harder.
So help us god!
Shantece or as mom called her Boo, was an amazing and loving soul. She loved all of her family and man did she love all of the kids like they were her own. She always did her best to call everyone and make sure they were good. She always loved everybody, treated her friends like family, even the ones who did her wrong she still loved. Her heart was so big. She was smart, loving, nurturing, silly, caring, beautiful and so much more! Boo set very high standards for herself. She graduated high school in 2013, following after with her bachelors degree in Social Work in 2018. She loved giving to the community and the less fortunate. She loved working with kids and ALWAYS hoped to be a wife and mom one day. We lost a big piece of us. Today and everyday moving forward we are and will be grieving this loss. We are asking for prayers and love sent to help heal our family, friends, and anyone else mourning this loss. It would be greatly appreciated for donations to help bring her body home and help fund for her funeral arrangements. ANYTHING helps, even taking the time to share this!
This won’t be easy for us so please be patient and give us time, support, and love.
WE LOVE YOU TECE!
Remembering the daughter of of Tammy Tollefson and Walter Butler, Sister of Tayvon Tollefson, and Savannah Caldwell. Cousins and friends of many
John 16:22. verse says: “Now is your time of grief, but I will see you again and you will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy.”
