<div>My name is Stacie Kent, and I am organizing this fundraiser from the United States on behalf of one of my employees, <strong>Mark Balaca, who lives in the Philippines</strong>. Mark and his family were directly impacted by the recent Fung-Wong typhoon, which caused significant damage to his family's home.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Mark is an incredibly hard-working member of our team, and despite facing this emergency at home, he has continued to show up with the same dedication and positivity as always. <strong>His family is now facing unexpected repair costs to restore their roof and make their home safe again.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Because GoFundMe does not currently support direct withdrawals to the Philippines, I will be collecting all donations here in the U.S. and transferring 100% of the funds directly to Mark using secure international transfer methods (such as Wise or Remitly). I will provide updates and confirmation once funds are sent so donors can see the impact of their support.

Emergency Typhoon Relief for Mark Balaca – Roof Repair

<div>Unfortunately, in the early morning hours on April 20, while sleeping Tom Mutch’s house caught fire.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>He was able to get out of the house safely, but lost all of his belongings and has been displaced for an undetermined amount of time.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Anyone who knows Tom, also knows that he would give you the shirt off of his back to help you. We are hoping to help get him back on his feet a little bit easier and any donation is appreciated.

Darcy was diagnosed with an auto immune disease, specifically Very Early Onset Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD). After her CT Scan, colonoscopy, endoscopy with biopsies and countless blood test we were told she needed genetic testing through CHOP. In order to successfully treat her, we are being sent to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia for a VEO-IBD Genomic Diagnostic Test. CHOP specializes in Very Early Onset IBD or VEO-IBD. This genetic panel defines the 98 known causative genes for VEO-IBD. These results  will determine which team of doctors will be treating her long-term. In order to begin genetic testing we are required to pay ALL fees up front to total $7,799.08 This does not include the travel to Philadelphia and any lodging/travel expenses, any future treatment from CHOP or the medication her insurance refuses to cover. Darcy is my whole world. She is struggling with everyday life due to her urgency to have constant bowel movements. She isn't able to participate in any team sports or even a long day at the park. Elizabeth is a wonderful mother who has done everything on her own. This past year she purchased a car, started a second job and moved out on her own. Her budget is limited.  Please help get Darcy tested!
