What they care about

I’m Tyshae Lewis a mother, wife, business owner, and advocate. I give to support families, uplift unheard voices, and inspire meaningful change.

I am organizing Walk by Faith, Not by Sight, Touched by God, a peaceful demonstration planned for September 17, 2026, in Rockville, Maryland. I created this event because I have spent countless hours writing letters, requesting records, making phone calls, filing complaints, and trying to get clear answers from agencies and institutions that were supposed to help me. Along the way, I have faced concerns involving identity theft, unauthorized access to my accounts and personal information, disputed documents, housing problems, and records I believe contain incorrect or altered information. At the same time, I have had to advocate for my son through difficult hospital, juvenile-services, and court-related matters while fighting to be recognized, informed, and heard as his mother. This has affected my peace, my sense of security, my finances, and my ability to focus on everyday responsibilities. As a mother, student, worker, and business owner, many of my days have been consumed by trying to protect my children, correct records, secure my identity, and understand decisions being made about my family. My faith has carried me through moments of feeling ignored, dismissed, and overwhelmed. That is why this demonstration means so much to me. It is not about hate or division. It is about bringing people together to stand for justice, due process, equal protection, family rights, accountability, transparency, and meaningful change. I want to create a space where families who feel unheard can stand together peacefully and use their voices with dignity and respect. Donations will help cover the real costs of organizing a safe and successful public event, including permits and application fees, signs and printed materials, tables, chairs, tents, event supplies, water and basic refreshments, safety and first-aid supplies, sound equipment, transportation, cleanup, and other approved event costs. I will use the funds responsibly to support the demonstration, and if any money remains after event expenses are paid, I will share an update about how the remainder will support related peaceful community-advocacy efforts or be handled. If this mission speaks to you, please consider donating or sharing this fundraiser. Your support will help me turn pain and persistence into peaceful action and help create a place where families can stand together for fairness, accountability, and equal protection.
