<div>Jon 's spirit is easy to conjure: singing with a voice that just elevates and inspires, enchanting us all with his wicked sense of humor, and showering compassion and love from his extraordinarily open, kind spirit and tender heart.

<div>It is with much sadness to share that he suffered a horrible accident after seeking help in the ER for severe flu symptoms. He fell and fractured his skull and face, resulting in contusion and swelling of the brain, loss of hearing in his right ear, and hospitalization for over a month. <strong>Hunnie was excelling at the time of his accident, as a master's student at NYU creating independent research in Cultural/Organizational Development via Empathy.</strong> Prior to this Jon had enjoyed a long career as a sound mixer and owner/operator of a full service production company, Lets Start Productions, LLC. He began his career making independent films in NYC. He eventually found himself in Los Angeles working in commercials, industrials, movies, and shows for companies like Disney, Google, Amazon Prime, Netflix and many more. It still unclear the severity or the duration of his injuries.

Help Hunnie Recover After Severe Accident

<p>Howdy folks, great news, I have an opportunity to take my current sculpture to Burning Man. The bad news is that I have grossly underestimated the cost of this opportunity and need your help to make it a reality. 
</p><br />
<p>This trip will take a minimum of 15 days. I'm looking at $2000+ just for diesel to get there and back, $1200-$1500 for new tires on my ambulance, which is what I'm planning to stay in, $400 for propane in my generator, and $300 in food for my good friend Brandon and myself. (I cannot assemble the sculpture by myself or drive as far in a day without help.) $400 in welding gas and wire to finish the sculpture by August, $500 for gear to survive living in the desert (shade structure, goggles, dust masks, fans, hydropacks, etc.), $300-$400 in solar spotlights that will last all night on one charge, $100 for a fine-tooth rake and magnetic sweeper to make sure the site of the sculpture is completely clean. $400 for the wing fabric, ratchet straps, and earth anchors. 2 weeks without PTO.

<p>I know I'm missing a lot of little things that will add up, but honestly, I don't want to think about that now. I just spent $1000 on brakes and shocks, filters, and oil to get "Bertha" ready for this 3600+ mile long trip. I cannot get a second job because all of my spare time is going into the sculpture or vehicle repairs. I am, however, starting to provide welding classes. Imagine a canvas and chardonnay event, only with a scrap metal sculptor. It doesn't pay the greatest, but it's what I'm good at. <b>Anything you can give would greatly increase my ability to make this happen.</b> As of right now, I'm 100% certain I am going to make it to the Black Rock Desert with the greatest sculpture I've ever buult, I just do not know how yet.

<div>Hello friends, my name is Deif, I'm a burner and for a long time, I had this dream to bring art to Burning Man. This year we have the opportunity to make this dream a reality. Along with my Dad, Josep and my brother Daniel, we will embark on this challenging journey to Black Rock City in Nevada, USA, with the mission to participate and bring an art piece to one of the most influential and special events in the world. Together we form a creative studio based near Barcelona in Catalonia. We are building this large-scale light installation, called Loophole, the material and logistics costs are very high, so we are looking for different ways to fund it. Being from Europe makes it even more difficult for us to bring art to the Playa so that's why we are asking for your collaboration.

<div>A series of metal circles generate a half-toroid shape, creating an infinite loop of light animation at night. The half circles attached to the ground are made out of aluminum and are gently shifted to achieve a spiral shape. At the center, there is a small wood platform of diameter 9 ft and 4,5 ft of height that can hold up to 5000 pounds or more.

Most importantly, it’s the shape of the magnetic shield of planet Earth that protects LIFE from cosmic ray storms and particles. The toroid shape attracts the particles to the poles and forms the wonderful light show of the Aurora Borealis and Aurora Australis.

LOOPHOLE light installation at Burning Man

<div>I am 1 in 10. I am a woman being plagued by a disease that has no cure because of the lack of funding for women's health. This is Endometriosis.
</div>

<div>This year I am on a mission to change that. It has become a birthday tradition to take on an adventure in the name of a good cause. Through wanderlust, I’d like to make a difference again. I also have a sick obsession with destroying/challenging myself for the better of others and raising money for charity.

<div><strong>Endo Found: </strong>EndoFound’s mission is to fund research to develop new diagnostic tools and treatments, and ultimately find a cure for endometriosis. This is why they established their Research Grants program.

<div>The mission is urgent due to the lack of funding from the federal government. In 2019, only $13 million was allocated to endometriosis research despite 1 in 10 women having the disease. This funding equates to less than $1 per year for each diagnosed patient. On average it takes a woman more than 10!!! Years to get diagnosed! Let’s change that.

<div><strong>Cool Earth:</strong> Cool Earth exists because right now, the world is in a climate crisis.

<div>The most effective way to fight back is to protect the best carbon-storing technology that already exists: rainforest. And the best way to do that? Back, support, and listen to the people living there.

<div>Indigenous peoples and local communities have lived in balance with rainforest for thousands of years and are the real rainforest experts. They are people who face extreme injustice whilst living on the front line of the climate crisis.
</div>
<div>Cool Earth exists to give cash direct to rainforest communities, to fund projects that create choice, tackle the root causes of deforestation and protect vital carbon sinks.

<div>I am about to ride a tiny 50cc monkey bike and wobble forth into the Sahara with the <a href="https://www.theadventurists.com/monkey-run-morocco/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Monkey Run</a>. Then force it over the Atlas Mountains and finish in a dusty cloud of glory just outside Marrakech. Expect sweaty desert, endless plains, snow capped mountains, river crossings, back roads twisting through epic gorges, bike-mangling off road tracks, and lots of camels. 1 week of chaos with a goal to make it to the end and change the world while doing it.

<div>I had my Endo surgery in February and that gives me 8 months to heal enough to do this ride. (I’ve had to push it off once already)

<div>In 2019 I drove through 37 countries with the Mongol Rally for Cool Earth and Save a Child's Heart. In 2021 I ran through 30km of Bali Jungle with the Million Meals March to bring meals for those in need in Bali. In 2022 I motorcycles to the Mt Batur Volcano with the Distinguished Gentleman's Ride to raise money for prostate cancer and men’s mental health. And finally, in 2023 I kayaked 13km along Bali's coast to raise money for ROLE to give an education to Bali’s impoverished women.

Empower Women's Health and Climate Action

<div>This is a fundraiser for my amazing sister. She and her husband have been financially scammed by a horrific group of humans, a company called <strong>Wade's House Moving</strong>. They paid <strong>$130,000.00 </strong>for a home that they will never receive. <strong>Wade's House Moving</strong> took the money and disappeared.
</div>

<div>My sister, Bonita, and her husband, Dalaney, bought a small piece of land in Exshaw a year ago with plans to build a family home. They have a dog, a kitty and—after several stressful rounds of IVF—a sweet baby named Juniper who was born in April.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The cost of building a new home is astronomical, so they had to get creative and eventually found a company that specializes in moving old homes. This was the only affordable option for them. Our entire family went with them to view a home when we visited Bonita and Dalaney over the Christmas holidays. They loved it and purchased the home in December 2023 and it was to be moved onto their land in August 2024 following the building of a foundation and basement for the home.

<div>In March, the situation became even more complicated and stressful when their landlords told them they wanted to sell the condo that my sister and her husband were renting. They tried to negotiate, reminding their landlords that they had a baby due in April and a new home to move into in August, but the landlords refused and they were forced to move into an expensive rental in another town shortly after their baby was born and shortly before the new home was ready.

<div>In July, as the foundation started, the foundation builders attempted to contact <strong>Wade's House Moving</strong> in order to coordinate timelines. When they did not receive a response from Wade's, they discovered that my sister and her family were one of hundreds who have been scammed by this company. Many haven't received the homes they were promised or the money that they paid to <strong>Wade's House Moving. </strong>

<div>So many tears and emotions have followed this discovery: sadness, shock, blame, and guilt. When I found out, I was instantly nauseous, heart-broken and helpless. I can’t even imagine how they feel. <strong>$130,000.00</strong> is a LOT of money. They have been through so much this year and they are tired.
</div>

</div>
<div>This is a life altering event. They are in talks with police, lawyers, and financial companies trying to find a solution, but it seems that there is no way that they will get their money back. The hope is, at the very least, that the people who committed this crime will be arrested and charged for the immense pain they have caused so many and to stop them from continuing.
</div>

</div>
<div>I know this massive amount of money is an unrealistic amount to replace through a GoFundMe campaign, but I figure that anything, even a little, can help. I want to remind them that the world is not all bad, that they do not deserve this, and that things will be okay. I want to remind them that I love them and that they are not alone in this.

<div>In 2017 he developed the NOCTILUCA facility in San Pancho, Mexico. An art installation around 1500m3, an installation for a restaurant on the beach in Nayarit. Inspired by the local Noctiluca, bioluminescent plankton. It was his first work of Perceptual Biomimicry, it plays with space and scale perspective to reproduce the visual sensation of being a Nocticula floating in their luminescent cloud of phytoplankton.

¡AXOLOTL! - Artcar-Camp Fundraiser

<p>Hi everyone, Natalie here. I'm someone who cares very deeply about Brad and I'll be managing this page, providing updates, and generally a contact for all those that love Brad to keep communication channels open.

<p>As many of you already know, Brad was involved in a very serious climbing accident on Mt. Shuksan on August 23rd, 2021 as he was preparing for a professional development alpine AMGA exam. He is alive, awake and stable (and already joking with the nurses and tired of being stuck in a hospital bed) and that is what matters, but the road to recovery is going to be long, difficult and expensive (thanks to our outrageous medical system and insurance rules).

<p><strong>What happened: </strong>Brad was mock-guiding myself and another friend up the notoriously loose, chossy and overall much-less-than-classic rock quality route called the NW Rib. As Brad led up with his backpack on some very infrequently-traveled terrain, testing the wet rock holds he was using, one of the holds catastrophically blew. The combination of the force and slippery wet rock threw him off balance and he took a 100' fall onto the talus ledge, miraculously surviving, but shattering his pelvis and right foot.

<p><strong>Rescue:</strong> We were able to stabilize Brad for the 4 hours before a helicopter from the National Park Service was able to make it through a small clearing in the clouds and long-line Brad to the Baker Ski Area heli pad (shoutout to Tim and Seth from SAR for safely packaging him into a burrito and transporting him off the mountain!). From there he was flown by life flight to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle and rushed to the OR.

<p>He underwent almost immediate surgery to stabilize his pelvic fractures, and he now has 3 long screws in his pelvis. They drove a giant nail into his foot to temporarily stabilize it as we wait for the swelling to go down in a week or two and he can start surgery on his foot (don’t scroll all the way to the bottom unless you want to see some gnarly x-rays ).

<p><strong>Recovery: </strong>As always, Brad was wearing his helmet and we are immensely grateful that his spine, brain and neck were uninjured, that the helicopter was able to get to us in time, that he was transported to the best orthopedic hospital in the country and he is stable. While the pelvic stabilization surgery was successful, we are still waiting on the second surgery for his heel/foot and the road to recovery is long and unclear. We want to keep Brad in the Seattle area for as long as possible as he will be wheelchair bound as he heals, and so he can continue getting the best orthopedic care at Harborview.
</p>



<p><b>How you can help:</b><span> Brad has touched many lives and is loved by many. From folks he’s guided in the alpine to those he shared beers with on river trips. All donations received through this GoFundMe page will be used to help Brad cover the medical and living costs from his surgery, hospitalization, rehabilitation and recovery, since he only has in-state coverage for New Hampshire, not Washington and won't be able to work as a mountain guide for the foreseeable future as he heals. Apart from a lot of PT and potential inpatient-rehabilitation, he will require a wheelchair and wheelchair-accessible housing until he can be weight-bearing again as his pelvis and legs heal over the next many months (his comfy Pontiac Vibe car-living situation just won’t cut it ). If anyone has spare hotel nights or Airbnb credits, it may be months before Brad is able to go home to temporary housing in New Hampshire.</span><br />

<p>On December 12, 2020, the Rongey family was hit by an unwelcome challenge. Their 9-year old sweetheart Julianne Corinna was diagnosed with a rapid-onset, aggressive, inoperable brain tumor. <br /><br />Julianne, her mommy and daddy, and her five close and adoring siblings have a rough road ahead.  Everything they do is directed toward helping her beat the devastating odds for this unforgiving form of cancer, known as DIPG (Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma).<br /><br />Despite struggles that she’s already having with sensory and motor functions and communication, and despite just the cruel reality of it, she’s high-spirited, sassy and determined. Since learning about this change in her life, Julianne has repeatedly said she’s going to “Kick Cancer’s Butt!” Let’s all band together and help her achieve this goal. Help the Rongey Family Fight for Julianne

Hello, my name is Elizabeth Hudy. My brother, Joey, just turned 20 years old and was recently diagnosed with Schizophrenia. You may remember Joey from the photo above when he had the awesome opportunity to attend the White House Science Fair where he displayed his project amongst dozens of other talented young students from across the country. Joey has traveled all over the world eagerly sharing his story about being a young Maker/inventor, and helping introduce other kids to STEMs.   The Maker movement was instrumental to Joey and he loved to share this experience with others. Joey is known by many as  a very smart, talented, giving, and fun loving young man. <br />After spending two weeks in a psychiatic hospital in Hong Kong, Joey was transferred to a treatment facility in Ohio called the Lindner Center for Hope.  My parents spent the month of February by his side as they lived in a hotel. This has been going on since early January and his condition progressed rapidly.<br />Last week he was transfered to a long term facility in Tennessee at the recommendation of his doctors. This will be a very long process for our family as this is a life long diagnosis that will require constant care, treatment and attention.  <br />You may not be aware of the significant cost of mental health care in the United States for such a diagnosis, and neither was I.  The Lindner Center for Hope costs $19,500 for just ten days. Pasadena Villa, where Joey is now in TN, will cost over $25,000 a month and Joey will likely have to stay for a minumum of three months.  After this time we still don't know how long it will take for the medications to be effective or what will be the next steps.<br />Anyone who knows my mother and father knows that they are some of the most generous and caring people you will ever meet. They fill the lives of others with so much love and support and they deserve the same, especially in such a difficult time. They constantly go above and beyond helping those around them in whatever way they can.  My parents have done tremendous things to promote STEM education and they have  encouraged so many people to get involved in the Maker Community throughout the years.  My brother and I have been fortnuate to experience this firsthand.  As their daughter, I only hope to be able to give as much support in return as I have always received from them.  I am aware of the finacial toll this has had on my family and I am hoping that you can help lessen the burden of this unforseen financial hardship.<br />Any funds received in excess of those needed for Joey's treatment will go to helping other families in similar situations.<br />My family really appreciates any help you can provide - financially and through your caring thoughts.<br /><img class="not-resizable" src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/18782020_1489087443.1482_funddescription.jpg" alt="" width="100%" />

Joey's Mental Health Recovery Fund

Dear Family and Friends, <br /><br />On Wednesday May 3, 2017, Naren and Raynah Prabhu were senselessly murdered in their home in Willow Glen. The Prabhu family and the Saratoga Community lost two generous, loving individuals.
