This year has been the hardest of our lives. After being laid off as a software engineer, I lost our home and moved my family of five—my wife, our three young kids, and myself—into my mom's house. We're all crammed into one bedroom, doing our best to stay positive while I work labor jobs to make ends meet. My wife has been incredibly supportive, even as we've lost so much, and our kids are doing their best to adapt to a new reality with very little space or resources.
One bright spot for us has been my 7-year-old son, Henry, and his love for golf. He’s absolutely obsessed—watching pro players, practicing his swing with a set of used kids clubs, and dreaming of one day becoming a professional golfer. When I can afford it, I take him to the course across the street, but those days are rare. Henry lights up every time he gets to play, and it’s one of the few ways we can get out of the house and enjoy time together as a family.
This Christmas, I want to give Henry the gift of a golf course membership so he can play regularly and keep chasing his dream. It would mean the world to him—and to all of us—to have something positive to look forward to. Any support to help make this possible would be deeply appreciated. Thank you for considering helping our family.
