<div><strong>Short story:</strong> Our friend's family of four with two severely ill 6 and 3 year old children are sharing a room in a shelter with 3 other families on the border city of Rafah (Gaza) after losing their home, his studio and literally everything else. Please give your generous donation ASAP! A total of £26,000 will be handed to them directly to cover travel and basic survival expenses.

<div><strong>Long story:</strong> Palestinian-Jordanian artist El Far3i &amp; Palestinian artist Muqata'a are aiming to collect £26,000 in total ASAP. Funds will go immediately to our fellow Palestinian artist and friend in Gaza, his partner, 6 year old daughter and 3 year old son who are both very ill right now and are trying to escape to Egypt temporarily. Their house, like many other houses, was bombed and destroyed during the ongoing vicious bombardment of Gaza. They fled to Rafah a few weeks ago and are now trying to cross to Egypt as soon as possible. Their situation is unbearable and the bombing is intensifying around them.

We are trying not to put our friend who is a talented singer, songwriter and producer in a position where his tragic story is used as a humanitarian token. We might eventually have to go public, but with your support we should be able to avoid that.

<div>Rafah, in the south of Gaza, where many families have escaped to, is being heavily bombarded at the moment. After losing their home and fleeing to Rafah, the family we are trying to help are now sharing a room in a shelter with three other families and the children Fairouz 6yrs and Hasan 3yrs are both getting very ill and are left without any medical treatment. The entire amount raised will be specifically used to cover travel expenses in their journey to safety by crossing the border from Gaza to Egypt and figuring out their next steps from there.

<div>We have received a direct call from this artist to help him and his family get to safety. While we still encourage everyone to continue the donation efforts for medical care and rebuilding Gaza, it is our duty now, as a community, to put our maximum effort in this campaign to help our fellow musician’s family. This will be the bare minimum as a response to his urgent and direct call for survival.
